    July 3rd, 2021 I rented a 2BR/2Bth duplex from this company. I had found it in short notice so I didnt get to thoroughly inspect. Upon moving in I found several issues in which I saw the response and knew immediately I had to move when my lease was up. ******* ******* the property manager is money hungry and tried to charge me for everything. The home has mold and mildew and it cannot be up to code. I had mice and other outside insects enter the home through multiple cracks in the foundation. The water smells bad coming from the faucet so Im sure the pipes need to be replaced. There is no way to view who is at your front door because there is no window or peephole. There was a clause in my list that I would turn on my vent in the bathroom after showers to prevent mold and mildew in the bathroom and the bathroom doesn’t even have a vent so it has mold and mildew and they just paint over it. The floor is caving in upstairs and they did not come and fix the problem. I recently had 300.00 of my deposit kept because of issues that were preexisting before I moved in. I tried contacting the company but ******* ******* does not let me speak with anyone else. I was charged $200 to have a washer and dryer removed but she cannot provide me with the receipt that she paid someone to remove that as she says. The trees around the home are dangerous and branches and limbs fall all the time when the weather is bad. I feel like all of the properties managed/owned by this company needs to be investigated. There are several people who have experienced far worst than me but fear retaliation or do not have other places they can go. I would like my $300 returned from my deposit and I would like for this company to have to bring their rentals up to code. I paid monthly for pest control and they never followed up after the second month. I have pictures of the place when I moved out and I was charged $50 for excessive cleaning.

    Please do not move here. Do not make the same mistake I did. The rent is way too high for such old apartments. I had to put in the same maintenance request for months and had to email the leasing office multiple times before they finally decided to fix some of the things that needed repair. You're responsible for fixing almost everything on your own except for emergencies (you would think they would help with little things changing the air filter with all the money being paid). Multiple leaks since we moved in, and maintenance personnel literally took pictures of the inside of the inside of our home to send to leasing office, without my authorization (pictures that had nothing to do with what he was there to fix) .You would think they would at least have the decency to speak to you with respect when discussing issues. I had a conversation with leasing office manager yesterday, she spoke to me with zero professionalism. Her tone and choice of words were so hurtful, which was really disappointing because I was speaking to her politely. I had a rough day (emotionally), and speaking with her made my day 10x worse. Literally had an anxiety attack after speaking with her. She threatened to send an eviction notice to I and my family multiple times during the conversation ( if the furniture in the backyard which she referred to as "junk"weren't removed within 24 hours) and each time I tried to explain myself she invalidated everything I was saying by calling it "excuses". Super disappointed at how they handle business. Leasing office personnel will strike you as the loving and compassionate type at first but please do not make the same mistake I made. At the end of the day all they care about is the money and making sure you live how they want you to without objections. Please learn to extend grace and compassion you never know what people are going through on the inside.
