The state employees association (SEANC) took to many payments out of my check for a total of $578.00 and submitted the payments to ****************** (a perk for state employees if you are a member of SEANC), I was referred to ******************, and they have been saying for two weeks the money would be deposit in my acct, I sent them my banking information. SEANC is responsible, even after I paid for the vacuum cleaner, the payments were coming out and going to SEANC. This has been going on for over a month with no resolve, I want them to give my money back and they deal with ******. They are the ones that got state employees tired up with this company.

SEANC deducts payments from my paycheck twice a month to pay purchasing power for merchandise. SEANC has not made a payment on this account since July 2023. Purchasing power has sent my account to a collection agency for non payment. Purchasing power should have been paid by the ending of 2023.SEANC is still currently taking payments out of my check. SEANC has taken 5 payments this year. I have called SEANC several times trying to resolve this issue. I would like for SEANC to payoff this debt and refund all money that I do not owe

Seanc had a agreement for its members with purchasing power to buy items and pay over a 12 month period with a payroll deduction. I made a purchase July of 2022. The first payment was deducted in September of 2022 for $******. Seanc dues are $14 and the $119.38 goes to **************** for my item I bought. So ****** has been deducted September 2022 , October 2022, January 2023, February 2023, March 2023and I'm about to be paid again and it will be on that check as well. In December 2022 it was a double deduction of $266.76. If you add that up I've paid $835.66 towards my item. Which the total of the item was $1,432.47. So I should owe only $596.81. I have been receiving emails and then called purchasing power because they are saying I am behind and that they will be sending my account to collections if I don't pay $238 to get my account on track. According to my paystubs I have paid $835.66 towards my purchase. So where has my money gone because **************** has not been receiving the payments from Seanc. This is not going to affect my credit. This is ridiculous. I have called Seanc and No one has returned my calls. I had to upload my paystubs from August until now to **************** so they can see the deductions that should have been going to them, to hopefully stop them from sending my account to collections. This is the second time Seanc has mis managed money. A previous purchase from 2021 was paid in full but Seanc kept deducting my check even though it was paid in full. I had to file a complaint then before they fixed the issue. Im a single parent I cant have my credit messed up. I have attached my paystubs to show all the deductions from August until now. August shows $14 dues and september shows after my purchase and the monthly payment added to my dues.

Our teams have reviewed the account and you are correct a total of $835.66 has been received by SEANC, which represents payments for 7 months.  A total of $596.90 was sent to ***************** a payment in the amount of $238.76 is being remitted this week which leaves a balance of $596.81. We've reviewed our call logs which reflect communication via phone in February 2022, March 2022 and April 2023.  We make every effort to respond to each member in a timely manner.  We welcome you to reach out to the Director of ****** Services, should you have additional concerns.  We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Seanc has been keeping money that has been deducted from my paycheck to pay purchasingpower.com and not sending it to them. $544.07 has been taken from my paycheck this year. It has not been put towards my account. $1232.00 was deducted last year . My issue is why are they saying it is still behind when *** is sending seanc all the money directly from my paycheck. When I called purchasingpower.com they said the last time money was sent from SEANC was Dec of last year for $15.38. I HAVE PAID WAY MORE SINCE THEN. I have contacted them several times with no help. Money is deducted from my check biweekly and they still claim it is a system glitch that had been going on for several months.

I placed an order with Purchasing Power on 14-Dec-2021 in the amount of $490.51. I am registered with Purchasing Power via SEANC and they take payments from me via payroll to pay for my purchases. For this most recent order, there was suppose to be 12 monthly payments of $38.80. As of 28-Feb-2023, there are still 5 outstanding payments that have NOT been sent to Purchasing Power. SEANC has taken my money every month and are still taking monthly payments of $52 ($38.80 for order payment + 14.00 SEANC membership due). This order should have been paid off exactly 12 months from the order date which would have been December 2022. Why do I still have a $182.30 delinquent balance with Purchasing Power? I have tried calling SEANC for almost a year as my Purchasing Power account has been restricted since early 2022 and I have not been able to use my account. I spoke with SEANC over a month ago and they once again told me to give it a couple weeks. Well it has been much longer and nothing has been done. This is getting to the point of a class action lawsuit as I see many others have been affected. I have called twice today and the workers told me ***** *******l is in but every time they transfer me to her, it just rings until I am sent to voicemail. I have been a member of SEANC for over 10 years and never had an issue with Purchasing Power until a year ago and its very frustrating with the customer service being lack-thereof. Also, why is money still being taken out of my paychecks by SEANC?!? Where is that money going to!? I want my account corrected ASAP and the difference refunded to me. This is embarrassing.

We have been working through an systems issue which delayed remittance of some of our payments to Purchasing Power, for which we apologize for any inconvenience.  According to our records we have received $2,350.85 towards PPC payments and have remitted $2244.71 as of today and will be sending $106.14.  However there is still a balance of $76.16, although PPC may reflect $182.30.  In reviewing our notes, it shows Mr. ******* called September of 2022 and spoke with one of our Member Program Specialist, who shortly after this call left SEANC employment before responding back.  As indicated in the complaint you have called to speak to ***** and have had to go into voicemail.  At this time, ***** is the only one taking calls for this department which traditionally has a very high call volume that is usually managed by two staff members.  We thank you for your membership and again apologize for the inconvenience and your frustration during this time as we continue to work on this systems problem.  We are also addressing customer service in various ways to not only provide better service for our members, but to also help with call management, both incoming and outgoing .

We invite you to call contact us ( Director of Member Services or Director of Operations) should you have additional questions regarding your account.

This company takes money out of my check each month to pay for services offered through ***************** For the past year they have failed to make all of my payments and have failed to send me my money back so that I can make my own payments. The account is currently past due and they are holding the funds.

We have been working through some application issues, which caused delays in remits.  To date we have received $2,420.82 (for PPC payments) from Payroll and remitted $2,282.82 to PPC as of today.  We will be sending the remaining $138 as catchup-remits.  However, there is still a balance due on the account.

Should there be any additional questions, we invite **************** to contact our ****** Services Department.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I am apart of the State Employees Association of North Carolina (SEANC) from which I agreed to have my payroll deducted for a discounted rate for benefits, auto and life insurance. I am currently enrolled for my car insurance, short and long term disability as well as other benefits over the years. I am a state employee currently out on Short Term Disability STD as of November 19, 2022. The SEANC payroll deductions were taken out of my December 21, 2022 as well as from my January 31, 2023 STD payment. Any dues or insurance is to be invoiced when employees are out on STD or Long Term Disability. The disability payment deductions December 21, 2022 SEANC deducted $1,017.65 for dues and $49.37 for insurance. January 31, 2023 SEANC deducted $480.04 dues and $49.37 for insurance. There have been deductions made for my Metlife auto/renters insurance as well however Metlife notified me that they (Metlife) have not received payment in 6 months. Metlife stated that 3 payments have been backed out and I now owe $3327, however SEANC has made the payroll deductions in the "dues" portion of my paystub.I have included my paystubs from September 2022-January 2023 to show the deductions from SEANC.I have reached out to ******************* with SEANC several times by email since January 4, 2023 with vague responses and there has been no plan to resolve my issue and provide a refund.

Our ******************* have reviewed the complaint of ******************** regarding her Insurance and ****************.  We understand ******************** feels that due to being on STD deductions should not be taken to cover her insurance and ***************** unfortunately being on STD doesn't prevent/stop deductions from being taken. We have reached out to **************** and her insurance carrier to confirm payment are still expected regardless of a member being on any form of disability, which they indicated payment is still expected.  Our Department Director has reached out to ******************** to setup a call to discuss this matter, which email has been her preferred form of communication.  We invite ******************** to give our Director of ****** Services a call so he can further explain in detail.

SEANC has been having "system issues" for over 6 months now, due to a technology upgrade from which various representatives have explained to me on multiple calls, which has caused a delay in posting payments to a company called ********** *****, it's now JANUARY 10, 2023 and there still is not a resolution. SEANC deducts the payments via my ************* ***** University payroll to send over to ********** ***** for items that I have purchased. There has not been a payment posted to my account since September 2022 in the amount of $308.86. This left a balance with purchase power of $845.28. Since September, SEANC has drafted $352.67 out of my check each month, which is a total of $1058.01, $212.73 more than I owe. My account with ********** ***** should be in good standing however it is showing delinquent. When I call either company to get the matter resolved, they refer me back to each other, for example I call SEANC they refer me to ********** ***** or tell me they're working on it. I have given more than enough time for SEANC to resolve this matter! I want my ********** ***** Account back in good standing, I want the deductions to stop coming out of my check, and I would like the difference of $212.73 returned to me, as this is the overage taken via payroll. If this is not resolved with the next week or sooner, there is a possibility that another deduction will be deducted from my paycheck as we are paid once a month at the end of the month. I have lost confidence that SEANC will handle this, as I have been dealing with this for months! Please help me!

We have investigated the complaint regarding Ms. ******'s ********** ***** account. Unfortunately, Ms. ****** has been negatively impacted by ongoing issues regarding our payments database. We have worked expeditiously to process payments for each member timely.

In review of Ms. ******'s account, we show that payments from monies deducted thus far have been paid to ********** *****.  The account also reflects there is an additional payment due.  I am happy to discuss this with Ms. ******, if she desires.

We sincerely apologize to Ms. ****** that this issue has taken so long.

I am rejecting this response because: I have previously filled a complaint because this company had not credited my accounts properly, now since the account was adjusted I only owe $125.94 however as I stated in my previous complaint the deduction from my pay check needed to be stopped. In the previous complaint I stated what I was owed from the deduction in that month. Well here I am again in February and this company has deducted ******. I am owed $182.60 from February and the feed requesting deductions from my pay check need to stop. Also since filing my first dispute this company has changed my membership status for this account, and Im unable to utilize it. I wanted them to rectify the accounts due to their continuous errors, now when I log into the account the website is saying they cant verify me however I still work for the same company and nothing has changed. (Proof in uploaded photo) I would like this rectified and still be able to access this account if I chose to utilize it in the future. This company is still taking the $14 dues for its membership out of my check therefore I should be entitled to have access to this perk as well. I have reached out to my employer and they stated that until SEANC stops sending the file to request the deductions theres nothing they can do. SEANC did not fully resolve the direct draft issue from the first complaint when I requested the deduction be stopped. Please help.

    Sincerely,

SEANC has been working with **************** regarding accounts.  Our IT department has reviewed the account reflecting the following:  We received $3,886.33 towards PPC payments and we have sent everything to PPC.  We have identified a refund of $168.61 is due from PPC, which we have communicated to PPC.  Therefore based on what was requested for payment, what was submitted for payment, and the refund to be processed by PPC, this closes all contracts, thus no further deduction should be requested, which would resolve the ability to access the account in the future.

We truly apologize for any inconvenience.
