            I purchased an annual membership that from Fairway Home Detailing that included 4 hours of handyman work. The company sent out someone to do an estimate of work needed on 30Dec2020. At that time, I was informed by the guy doing the estimate that repair to an area of the bedroom that had a previous leak would need to be extensively repaired incl tearing out the sheet rock to ensure the area was free of water damage/mold. Since the repair was more than I cared to do myself, I agreed to have the company do the repair with an estimated additional charge of $198 in addition to other work that would use the 4 hours I had as part of the membership. When the handyman came to do the repair on 26Jan2021, he told me that only the tape seem needed to be replaced and the extensive work was not needed. This work was completed. The company has attempted to collect the $198 that was quoted to me even though work was not done. Spoke to them in Feb, heard nothing, then they contacted me again today.

            We had a contract for 4 years with this company. We ran into some issues for the house and asked Fairway to simply provide dates they did work to clean gutters. All we need was dates and work was done! The owner got completely belligerent and refused to provide any dates that work was done and service was provided! We requested 5-6 different times and different emails explaining that we were not blaming them but needed to know when work was done so we could show our contractor that water was not coming from the gutters. (Especially since we have gutter guards and we had a company regularly cleaning our gutters). I have never seen a company act so belligerent and rude and unprofessional! To top it all, we had contracts with them for 4 years. So by contract, they have to let us know dates when work was done and they refuse to provide any of it! We requested very kindly and professionally from day 1 and they wont provide a single thing. Happy to share email chains! Purely unprofessional and unethical! Just give the dates you cleaned the gutters!
