1 starDon't trust this business. Not sure what they did, but the car that I purchased used did not last 2 weeks. The sales representative also reassured me that with it being used that if problems existed that he would assist. Not only was the tire frame broken but the car electrical power steering went out less than 30 days of having the car. If it is not fixable, I will politely drop it off on their premise and a voluntary repossession will be administered. If you want safety, dont purchase used cars from this dealership.Review fromScott B

1 starIf I could give them negative stars I would. They sold me a 2017 **** *150 on Sunday. They first tried to get me to pay for $799 on a Lojack system and "window Tinting". This price was not advertised and was above and beyond their advertised price. I am considering a complaint to *** license and theft on that issue, but wait to gets worse. I told them no, and was going to walk until they agreed to not charge me for it (BTW, dealer cost on that unit is $80 and there was no tint applied to the truck). We drove the truck 25 miles home with no issues.On Monday we drove the truck and noticed an issue with it shifting from the 3 to 4 gears. A bad, Bad issue.I took the * 150 to my local **** dealer for diagnostics. Come to find out that the transmission was 4 quarts low on fluid (its a sealed system so you can't check it) and the fluid was burnt. **** tried to refill the fluid and change the filter, but the damage was ********, I am forced to pay another $8000 for a reman transmission. It seems like checking and flushing the transmission is the least that a large dealer could do before putting a vehicle up for sale. But, nope, they didn't bother. My local **** dealership was appalled that they did ******* advice? Stay *AR *AR away from Westgate. It's not worth the risk. Shame on you Westgate. I hope you sleep well at night knowing what you are doing. The idiotic Lojack (which doesn't benefit anyone but you in reality) and the lie about window tint is bad enough, but to not even check a major component in a vehicle that you put up for sale and risk your reputation is absolutely unforgivable.Review fromCasey D

1 starI purchased a 2018 Jaguar F-pace online. I told the salesman that I didn't want LowJack added on and he agreed. I have first and last name of *********** with emails and text messages of my refund check was being processed. It has been over 4 months and still no refund. Once the *** was delivered to me...I refused to sign paperwork but salesman E.H. promised that the refund check was coming to me. Poor business practiceWestgate Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM

Thank you for posting this review. For security and insurance reasons, our policy is to install either LoJack or a similar device on all inventory vehicles. It isn't "added on" to an individual transaction at the point of sale. But I will pull your buyer file to review and contact accounting.K. S.

I hope that it is reviewed further because I have the emails and text messages to prove what was said. I wouldn't have made the purchase if that was the case and chose to forfeit my delivery fee. 1 starI came across a 2017 ***** **** online for sale. Test drove it. Loved it. Had all the features I like in a vehicle. Approved loan, gave me decent for my trade in and off I drove home. Two days later I got a call stating the car was sold in error and they had to come get it. Something about the title and it was supposed to be auctioned. Now this is a big error to me because for 1- the vehicle had been at this location for many many days. This purchase went through the salesman, finance, sales manager or any manger and was not caught!! General manager offered me another vehicle even to go over a thousand or two and would adjust payment to what it was originally. I did not like anything at the time though. Salesman (which was GREAT) was to bring my old car back to me the next day and stressed for them not to forget my spare fob. Which he did and said he would bring it back. Two days later I called and the manager was not aware of the situation about forgetting the fob and suggested mailing it. I ok'd. A few weeks later I had not received so called back and ** was going to verify mailed to the correct address and get back. Few weeks went by and I never heard from them so I called the salesman. He stated he looked around and could not find the key so assumed got mailed and would have the ** call me back (he was in a meeting). Still have not heard anything back and no FOB. Emailed the owner of the company twice with no reply from him as well. I had a FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE at this dealership that started out perfect and ended up very disappointed and out a FOB which is kinda pricey to replace. BE AWARE. 1 starOn September 15, 2024 I purchased a 2014 *** 535d that had an excellent Carfax history and was immaculate inside and out. A few days later we realized the car was leaking oil significantly. It is December and Ive added 3 quarts of oil. Westgate was the last to change the oil and after carrying it to a *********** center it was realized the oil housing had been cracked due to an inexperienced mechanic at Westgate. This is a $2700 repair and comes after I paid $250 to replace the oil filter that had a bad seal. Sidenotes include that the car was advertised at ******* miles but by time I purchased it had ******* miles and I paid $1800 additional by time they added all of their fees. I wish I would have read some of these complaints prior to purchasing.Review fromStephanie M

1 starI purchased my 2019 Jeep Cherokee in December 2018 from this dealership. I am a Westgate for Life member and have all my maintenance and service completed there. I have been very unsatisfied with the *********************** in the last 4-6 months. There is very little flexiblilty with poor management in service. I drove my vehicle into the dealership November 25, 2024 because my check engine light was on. The gentleman at the desk of the *********************** told me he did not have any appointments for the day but he could complete the diagnostic monitoring. He told me the throttle filter or censor was going out when he completed the diagnostic. He said this should be fixed as soon as possible because it could lose power/shut down. I made an appointment on line for service with an explanation of the problem on the appointment page. I got an email confirmation of the appointment and several reminders up to the date, today December 7, 2024 at 12 noon. I take the vehicle in for service and they tell me in the *********************** they did not have an appointment for service scheduled for me. I show the Gentleman the email confirmation and reminders on my phone and he rudely shrugs me off saying, "Well sorry!". I am sick of the ** and shenanigans. I am not a fool and I am a highly educated individual. I don't appreciate the service or the lack there of, from Westgate ******************** I noticed the decline in ****************** satisfaction since it has gone under new management in the ************ area. 1 starWestgate Chrysler Jeep Dodge! I test-drove a nice looking clean 2020 Dodge ************** with 121K miles on. I took some pictures of it to send to my family to see the car. I liked it and told my salesman I'd take it. My salesman told me the car had to go get detailed and have the stickers removed. Two hours later, I get the car and something just didn't look right. I noticed some scratches I didn't notice before. I drove off the lot. Eleven days later I looked at the picture I had taken for my family of the 2020 Dodge Charger I test drove and bought and about lost it when I noticed an 8000 miles difference in the odometer of the car I had purchased and the one I took the picture of when I test drove it. I was shown one clean car and sold another car. I was lied too. Played like an idiot. I attempted to talk about the issue, he said all sales are final. He denied any wrongdoing. Westgate sold me a car under false pretense and I will go through every avenue I can to get this wrong made right so it never happens to someone else. I have been in the automotive business nearly a half a century. I don't like be treated like a fool and have young punks insult my intelligence.
