- Additional Info:On June 25, 2018 BBB opened an investigation into Law Office of Lia C. Bies based on information received regarding a timeshare resale scam. The scam claimed this company could facilitate the sale of timeshares for advanced payments of $9000. Consumers were asked to wire money to Mexico in order to begin the process.
Our investigation confirmed that the scammers are fraudulently using Ms. Bies information and Ms. Bies is in no way involved with these offers. This information was also confirmed with the the North Carolina State Bar of which Ms. Bies is a licensed lawyer.
