            I bought a new build house from Mattamy in January of 2023. They were so nice and really worked with you but once I bought the house for $450,000 dollars they suddenly became un-attentive. Fast forward to mowing season and my yard is a wreck. They did not clean the soil, prep the soil or grade the yard properly. Half of my sod didnt take and I was over ran with weeds. There are rocks all over my yard so the sod had no chance. Since I bought the grass when it was dormant, I did not know it was an issue. I reached out to my local people to ask about getting sod replacement. Didnt even ask for them to fix the grade or take the rocks out. Just sod. I was told in person that they would get me sod. However, I did not receive any. My email was also ignored. Additionally, I am not the only person who has this problem. Several other neighbors have this problem and they know it is a problem. On account of the *** constantly harassing me about the yard condition.

            I bought a Royal Oaks home in 2013. Eight years later, my screened-in back porch already needs repairing. The wood is severely bending and cracking. Also, the flooring in my bedroom is splitting. You would think all of this is considered structural damage. Professionals came out to look at my property and recommended that I contact my home warranty. I did, and of course, my warranty claim was denied. They came up with every excuse not to make any repairs, stating that there's no structural damage and, therefore, they will not repair. The materials that Royal Oaks homes use are obviously cheap.
