Since the installation of new kitchen countertops on 7/19-20/23, I have been asking Rockinteriors for help and four months later I am no further along in a resolution.Within days of the perimeter countertops being installed, milk was spilled and it stained the countertop. The spill did not clean up with water and Norwex cleansing cloth or with Method granite cleaner. It was only after the stain did not clean up and I was waiting for a response that out of frustration I tried BarKeepers Friend on one of the spill portions (and only that portion) of the surface. Since the initial spill and stain, the countertops have continued to stain from normal use, including milk, apple juice, and wine - basically all drips of food or liquid even after immediate cleaning.The fact that normal household use would stain the granite countertop leads me to believe the surface was never sealed or that the color enhancer used was of poor quality.Even after we applied Shinex at the direction of the stone supplier and Rockin'teriors employee the countertops continue to stain. This isnt an issue with high mineral content in our water as Rockin'teriors implied or Bar Keepers Friend used in one spot. The only conclusion I can draw is that something occurred or did not occur in the fabrication of this stone that is causing these issues.I understand that natural materials such as granite *** have variations, but the extent of staining on my countertops from normal household use is beyond what should be considered acceptable. My expectation upon signing a contract with Rockinteriors was that a satisfactory product would be delivered and installed. Given the circumstances, I have requested that Rockin'teriors take immediate action to resolve this issue,I have a quote from another professional to **************** for $600-$700 so a resolution does exist.As I have not received a response to my request for resolution within 7 days, I'm filing a complaint per my last message dated 11/16/23.
