This company has a track record of over-promising and under-delivering based on other reviews and our experience. The marketing and TV commercials are convincing; however, their quality and customer service are lacking and leave a lot to be desired. After paying nearly $18,000 for a whole-house generator installation, we learned that a faulty panel was installed AND the malfunctioning generator system disabled two air conditioning (A/C) units and several other appliances. On two separate occasions within a two-week period, the utility power went out, the generator came on, and multiple other appliances and the A/C units stopped working for days. We took pictures of the increasing temperature gages and sent them to Generator Supercenter as proof. They instructed us to call an **** company, which charged $600+ for the repair. We followed the guidance provided, sent them the invoice for reimbursement, and then suddenly they were too busy to follow up. I only requested reimbursement for the **** bill for a problem they created. I did not ask to be compensated for the three days of taking off work for the technicians to replace equipment and fix their mistakes. I asked why they wouldn't take responsibility for the faulty ************************ & malfunctions and was told that they don't make the equipment. I responded, but you installed the faulty equipment in my home - and then it disabled other appliances and caused our A/C to stop working in the summertime. Basically, I said: "this is a problem you caused, and now I'm having to pay for it." I asked, "wouldn't it be easier to admit your mistake, reimburse the **** costs, and show some concern for a customer who just paid more than $17K -- wouldn't that be easier?" The response was simply a bunch of excuses and a vague commitment to "make things right." Months later, we were still waiting and didn't expect them to "make things right" - and ended up filing a lawsuit against the company.
