This LLC owner, ********************************* Skiba AKA ***** Renovations, comes across as wanting to be "budget friendly" and supposedly has you best interest at heart. In reality he has a specific set of supplies planned for your renovation. The customer is not allowed to control the choices when in essence it is their money, their house. He controls the cost of the installed products. The The contract for a job comes to you via email and before MANY "details" have not been discussed. This owner sets allowances for materials the customer has to abide buy to avoid an uncharge and these allowances are unrealistically low resulting in lower grade products. I stated that I wanted a sliding glass shower door and I was told I did not want one. I was forced to pick out flooring that was already in stock so the company would not have to wait 2 weeks and (per owner) "make 7 trips to my house". I did not get the flooring I wanted and again, my bathroom, my money. In the vanity top we were provided, the sinks were not equal distances from each end of the vanity top having an unusually large space between the two sink, not standard. One sink is so close to the wall that we were unable to center the mirror over the sink. With the sink being so close to the wall we cannot stand in front of the sink and brush our teeth or dry our hair without elbows hitting the wall. The backsplash for the vanity top was too long for the vanity top. While we wanted the job done in a timely manner, the workers were still at our house at 6:30 and 7:30 at night. This was done so they could finish quickly and move to another job ASAP. This is why I was not allowed to order flooring or a vanity top. This unsavory business practice was not wholly realized until after the contract was signed. We trusted this person and it was a BIG mistake. We are stuck with a defective vanity top.
