On Friday, January 17, 2025, I received a statement in the mail from FirstPoint ************************** with Reference ********* that I owe a total of $137.68 for two accounts ****************** and 95167-15000625222) for service on January 31, 2023 by FirstHealth of the Carolinas in the amount of $68.84 and a service on March 7, 2023 by FirstHealth of the Carolinas in the amount of $68.84. On Monday, January 27, 2025, I told ******* ******, of FirstPoint **************************, that I want to file a complaint and a dispute to get a refund of my payment of $137.68, and I was told I need to contact FirstHealth of the Carolinas to get documentation and email it to FirstPoint ************************** at ************************************************* Confirmation Number ************ was given to me by FirstPoint for my payment. FirstHealth of the Carolinas will not provide me any documentation nor will ****************************** which I paid in full on Saturday, December 28, 2024. I have contacted these companies several times, and I am continuously getting the run around from all three of these companies. Please help me to resolve this matter and get documentation for my records that I do not owe either one of these companies because I do not owe them. Thank you for your time and attention, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

FirstHealth spoke with Ms.  **** and confirmed that she is due a refund. The refund will be issued by the collection agency. Ms. **** still had questions. A call has been scheduled for next Friday with a supervisor at the agency.  Ms. **** was in agreement with this resolution.

I am rejecting this response because:

The only thing that I do not agree with from First Health of the Carolinas is that the amount of the refund is $18.00.  I paid ****************************** in full $243.39 on Saturday, December 28, 2024, which brought my account to a zero balance.  Then, FirstPoint Collection *************** sent me another bill dated 1/8/2025 for $137.68, and I paid the $137.68 on Friday, January 17, 2025.  How can I have paid ****************************** in full on 12/28/24 and be at a zero balance on my account and ************************* ************************** send me another bill dated 1/8/2025 for $137.68.  This means that I am owed a refund of $137.68 not just the $18.00, which I was told in my conversation with First Health that my refund is only $18.00.

      Sincerely,

      ******* ****

I have spoken with Ms. ***** She has been reminded that Mosaic/FirstPoint collected her payment and any collection questions should be addressed on her Friday call. All calculations concerns should be presented to Mosaic/FirstPoint.

      Respectfully submitted,

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and I find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I agree that ***** ********, of First Health of the Carolinas, has returned all of my phone calls and provided me a thorough explanation from the First Health of the Carolinas end and told me that she will mail me an itemized statement and bill history of my account.

At this point, ***** ********, of First Health of the Carolinas, has directed me to *****************************, and FirstPoint Collection *************** to receive answers and a resolution to this matter because she does not have the information to provide me because she only receives payment information from ****************************** and FirstPoint Collection *************** once a month and does not have check numbers for payments, is unable to see their records, etc...  And, if neither of these companies provide the information; then, First Health of the Carolinas does not have it on their end.  Therefore, I agree with ***** ******** that I need ****************************** and FirstPoint Collection *************** to provide me answers and a resolution to this matter, and I am supposed to receive a phone call from a *****, of ******************************, this Friday, February 7, 2025 about this matter.

      Sincerely,

      ******* ****
