    First opened in 1959 the Sand Dollar Motel has been providing visitors with a cozy place to stay for 60 years! Many updates and additions have been completed by different owners through the years, including the addition of second floor rooms and the cottage. Improvements and updates continue at the hands of Jill and Rick Gunter, who bought the motel in August of 2015.
