In August 2023, we initiated contact with Bull Buildings to discuss acquiring a structure. During our conversation with *****, we explained our intention to undertake some preparatory work before commencing the actual installation, as we were attending to family matters, particularly caring for my father. ***** assured us that this delay was acceptable and that we would have a six-month window to make any adjustments to our building plans. On September 28, 2023, we finalized the design for a building and entered into a contract for its installation. The contract asked for a down payment of $3702.68, which ***** Stated was to secure the discount, we paid.Unfortunately, in January, my father passed away, prompting a shift in our plans. We decided to proceed with constructing a barndominium instead of the initially planned building. On January 31st, I contacted ***** to apprise him of the situation, and we proceeded to redesign the structure as a barndo. However, our preference for wood materials and a customized layout not offered by Bull Buildings necessitated further adjustments eventually ending as a carport. Despite multiple attempts to reach ***** via email and phone calls, it took four weeks to receive a response. We were sent a new contract and not allowed to modify the original, it did not account for the $3702.68 down payment previously made. I promptly inquired about this discrepancy, but my emails went unanswered . I contacted the main office, where ******** confirmed the existence of our order and assured us that we were not seeking a refund. She pledged to discuss the matter with the owner. Shortly, ***** contacted us, citing a clause in Section 2A verse 3 of their contract stating that the dealer payment was non-refundable. However, there was no mention of a dealer payment in any contract, only the down payment for the building. Despite our efforts, Bull Buildings has refused to transfer the down payment to the new contract or offer any further assistance

Go Direct with the building manufacturer don't use this "group of salespeople". To give meaning to my statement this is a group of salesmen and nothing else. They will say everything is not their fault and not on them. They will lie and tell you anything you want to hear to get you to sign a piece of paper and pay a fee. I was told numerous times that I could change "ANYTHING" up until the building was installed. This is not true. You can change small things like the windows and doors but when you start messing with their commission they will find ways to weasel out of it and then refuse to repay their "dealer FEE" (because the contract) which is what their contract means as a down payment (down payment is not for the building its for their fee). They use wording to try and deceive you. Then their salespeople only want to talk on the phone so they can deny deny deny in the end. Don't make the mistake we made and don't sign anything, don't give them any money, when they send the quote call the building company directly that you will deal with in the end and cut these guys out. They are shady and are only in this for the "Dealers Fee". You can read in all of the other ratings that are 1 star just the type of people these people are based on their replies. Every single one of them is the ole oh yeah oh yeah well you did this comment. They do not take responsibility for what they do and should not be a reputable company. 3.86 star rating is really high for this group. So in the end do yourself a favor. Go direct with the building manufacturer they all have actual sales teams and you can deal directly with the people that are responsible for their actions..

***********, as we explained to you over the phone several times, once the stamped blueprints are sent over to you the customer, the engineers contract states that they are no longer able to issue a refund as their liability on the project can not be retracted. We did offer to revise your order, even offered to move it to another company to recover as much of your deposit as possible. We are very transparent to the fact that when a order is placed, you have 3 days to receive a full refund on the deposit. After those three days have passed, we forward parts of your deposit to the licensed contractor that will over see your project and a structural engineer who **** your blueprints. Once those items have been recorded they will not issue me a refund, thusly I cant issue you a refund. The only exception is that if your building permit is denied, they will upon receipt of denial letter on county letter head, issue a full refund as a paper trail has been established that relieves their liability. This was explained prior to you making the purchase both over the phone and in writing. I am sorry that you find yourself in this position, and I am sorry that we are not able to meet your request for a full refund. We have offered to make any and all changes that you requested. We have also gone against industry standards and offered to credit 100% of your new orders deposit amount. Again I am sorry that you disagree with the terms of our industry. Building products are very different from retail purchases in this area. The law actually dictates that things are done this way to protect, homeowners, the engineer, the contractor and to help keep costs low for everyone by reducing the amount of customer perpetrated fraud that takes place in our industry. As for you statements about purchasing directly from the manufacturer, there is not a single reputable manufacturer that sales customer direct. The marketing and sells side of our industry is subbed out 100% of the time. Additionally, the men that arrive to install your building are also subs. If they make an error, they are responsible to correct it not the manufacturer as you state above. Please take the time to read these agreements, as they are serious terms and cannot be worked around in any case. Again, we are sorry that you disagree with the terms of our agreement and wish you the best of luck with your project.
