Purchased my carport on 9/16/2024 . It was scheduled to be delivered on 10/3/2024, but because of all the damage caused by ****** In ************** they had to reschedule for 10/10/24. They brought it and in 2 hours they had up my 25x20x8. It was done very professionally, looks great and I highly recommend this company. The staff and workers were great.

I purchased this building through Bunce Buildings in Stokesdale, NC. To start off with the salesman initially stated this was an ***** Brand building but once the paperwork was completed he had stated this was another company from an individual who used to work for ***** but branched out to do his own thing. Already smells fishy, but I already had done a ton of research and needed to get the ball moving on my garage. I ordered a 24x25 size building initially with a walk in man door, roll up door and 3 windows. Once the initial structure was up I decided to add an additional two windows on the opposing side to allow for better cross breeze. It took over a month for a date to get scheduled for the additional windows to be installed. To make it even better I was the one who had to continually follow up to see when they were going to show. Then they had to make 3 trips on 3 different days (all weekend days mind you) because they brought the wrong color trim. Then they had to come back and recut the trim because they didn’t line the corners up and had overhang on all 4 corners of both windows. On top of that they had to make a 5th trip because those windows along with the other 3 including both doors started to leak every time it rained. Along with leaking 2 of the windows had bad enough defects in them they had to come address them again and ended up swapping out one them due to how badly bent one of the tracks were not along the window to open and close properly. Meanwhile they tried to silicone the corners of each window to try to address the leaking but yet it continues to leak. The ironic part is I was told by Danielle that the windows and the doors leak because I made my slab bigger then the building. The slab is a 25x26 to allow for 6” of overhang all around. Although I have siliconed the entire exterior of the building the reasoning I was given is the fact the slab is too big for the building. The size of the slab has nothing to do with windows or doors leaking.

Pre Built Structures has made every attempt to handle these issues for the Customer.
We have been out 5 times and even replaced windows due to Customer not being satisfied with them The Customer did go with us due the price point vs. ***** Carports. We still have discounts in place that make our prices more attractive. Customers are looking for price more than ever these days and we do try to be as competitive as possible with other manufacturers. It is the Customer who makes that decision.
We also mailed the Customer 250 of each color screws for his building at absolutely no charge.
The concrete pad is indeed larger than the building and this will cause leaking issues due to the building being smaller than the pad. There is no seal between the baserail and the concrete pad. With this being said, you will see water under the baserail from time to time. Each manufacturer in this business will tell their Customers the exact same thing. We always recommend that the concrete be the same size as the building to allow for that in the future. There is nothing fishy about anything during this process. The Customer was informed of who we were at the time of purchase and he made an informed decision on his own. Now, lets address the scheduling. We schedule as runs and Crews come available. We schedule out one week at a time and do our very best to keep the Customer informed. Scheduling lets the Customer know that they will call them one week in advance of the Crew coming to install or repair. We do not mind the Customer calling, but we cannot give them a date if we do yet have one for them. Scheduling is done very precise and each Customer is put into a stop according to location. We do everything we can to accommodate the Customer and make the process as smooth as possible. It is construction work and outside. Sometimes things happen beyond our control, such as weather and etc.
The Customer was informed correctly about the concrete pad and we have made every attempt to accommodate his request without question including giving him free product and making sure we sent a Crew at every chance possible and to repair what he was necessary. Pre Built Structures has being doing business with Bunce Building for years and we have great relationship with them and there is nothing to hide. We have did all we can do for this Customer and we feel this issue is closed at this time.

You all may consider the matter to be closed but I do not consider the matter to be closed as I have had to spend an additional $200+ that I have receipts of on silicone alone to stop the windows and doors from leaking. The building has been completely sealed at the bottom (pictures were supplied) and when pictures were sent to you all it was shown that water was underneath the support beams directly under the windows then spilled into the floor. You mentioned there is nothing under the base rails at the bottom but when your employee asked me about silicone for the bottom I told her I already had some for the installers to use, but was told they could only use what you all supplied if purchased from you directly. The issues have been stated from the beginning that the windows and doors leaked profusely and your response to that is the slab is too big makes absolutely zero sense. How can water move from the floor to support beams under a window? Gravity would prohibit that from ever happening thus not making any of this make sense. You know it’s an issue and don’t want to do anything to correct it other than supplying screws. I can stand inside my building and look at the corners of the window and can see outside. So it’s pretty obvious to me that where there is a hole water will stream in. I have sent pictures and videos showing all the issues this building has had. There are definite design flaws that I have noticed but that would be the biggest issue as to why these windows continued to leak until addressed properly. I would like to be reimbursed for the additional expenses I have made to seal this building up that should have done to begin with. So far I have had to use 31 tubes of silicone to seal of the tops and sides of 5 windows, 1 walk-in door and 1 roll up door. I have also added a garage door base seal along with a brush kit on the roll up door to help with additional weatherproofing. All in all if you plan on using this as an actual garage just be prepared to spend an extra $1,000 to make it waterproof and weather proof. As for the scheduling you speak of yes you did come out 5 times. 3 times you were sent with the wrong color trim for the windows which in fact ruined 3 Saturdays of my time waiting on you to arrive for no reason. You all stated you would be there in the afternoon but didn’t arrive until 5pm multiple times. Then there were times were an installer was scheduled to show that day and after rearranging my work schedule I was told mid morning that they wouldn’t arrive until the following day because they were finishing up another job. Had that been communicated the day before when they knew they weren’t going to make it that would have been far more convenient. I had to reach out multiple times to follow up on scheduling because I never received updates other then the initial time of purchase without doing so.

Pre Built Structures LLC put my building up on 10/20/2022..I purchased it through Bunce Buildings in Albemarle. I called 4 days later about the 1-2 inch gap around the entire building roof where it supposed to meet the walls... after numerous calls and even drove there 2 times to no avail. Today I finally spoke with the people from Pre Built Structures LLC 2 times.. great was with Danielle who instantly responded that my building was out of warranty!!!! She says they only offered a 30 warranty on their workmanship??? Well this is obviously a design flaw AND workmanship issue and was reported 4 days after the building was put up! All the "manager" from Pre Built kept responding was that he was not sending a crew to assess OR fix the issue because it was out of warranty!!! Avoid without legal representation and don't pay until you are satisfied...

Mr. ****** did call the Office and stated that his building has a gap inside and he could see daylight. He did state that he called Bunce after this, and Bunce responded by saying they would look into it for him. There were no notes in his order in stating that he had called the office about this. I have been with Pre Built for 9 months now and have never had any contact with this Customer concerning his issues. After speaking with Bunce, they had not either. Our warranty is for 30 days and the Customer signed the contract to that effect. We at Pre Built Structures feel that if there were a problem, Mr ****** would have long since spoken to someone concerning his issues. We are at this time working on a solution for him with Bunce Buildings and feel that this will bring closure to this Customer issue. We feel that this will close this and no further action will be taken or recommended.

This company will not stand behind its work or contracts. I paid 1070.00$ extra on my building to have the studs placed on 4 foot center instead of their standard 5 foot. The day after the building was installed I contacted them to let them know it wasn't built correctly per the contract. The response I received was "so what" I informed them it was a breach of contract and was told "your welcome to take us to court we won't refund your money or do anything for that matter". They offered no kind of resolution except court. Great way to conduct business.

Mr. *********** contacted the office and stated that the building was not built on 4' center. We explained to the Customer that due the size of the building, we could not build exactly on 4' centers. We did offer a solution to the customer and he declined the offer. Pre Built Structures offered to drop the materials to him so that he could do his project as he wished on the inside. The customer declined the offer and we closed the matter in question. He was offered a solution and declined. Pre Built Structures does everything in their power to see that all Customers are taken care of and that they are satisfied with Our Services. Also, we did not receive any pictures of the complaint about the building. We require these photos so that we can see what the complaint actually is.

We feel like we made the right choice and stand behind that decision at this time.

Thank You for your time with this matter.

When I contacted Pre Built Structures about the problem with the building not being built as per the contract not one single time in the many phone calls that followed was I asked to send any kind of pictures or anything else for that matter. The resolution that was offered was they would deliver 1 roof truss and 2 metal studs and I could fix it my **** self '"per Phillip" their supervisor. There is several issues with this offer, 1 it totally would void the warranty, 2 that isn't even close to the amount of material needed to fix the problem. At the very minimum it would take a roof truss and a bottom plate plus the extra metal stud and that would only be enough for one of the two walls that were not built correct. If this was done it would also leave hundreds of holes in the siding.3 Pre Built Structures had determined that they could not engineer the building as contracted but yet expected their customer to do it for them. Pre Built Structures states that it can't be contructed per the contract at an extra cost of 1070.00$. No one from their company ever contacted me before the building was installed to let me know they could not do it per the contract,if they already knew this ahead of time there should have been an option to cancel the contract or refund the 1070.00$. Not just take us to court.
