I bought a car from Quinns in August of 2023 under the impression that the title was clean and nothing was wrong with the car. A few months after I got the car, it stopped cranking. I spent money on my own to try and fix it but nothing was working. So I dropped it off at Quinns for them to look at and fix. They ended up putting 2 new motors in the car. The first one misfired and the second one worked enough. Along with me still making a $350 payment while not having the car for over a month. Recently, I was involved in an accident where someone pulled out in front of me and completely totaled the car. I still owed $6100 on the car. Insurance told me I was looking at a $9,000 payout for the car until the title came back as branded. It was salvaged titled and took $5000 worth of value off the car. I was never told the title was salvaged. They never explained that and had me under the impression that it was clean title and sold it to me at clean title price. My insurance company and lawyer informed me its illegal to not inform the buyer and urged me to contact the the business and BBB. The business informed me that sometimes they dont know if the title is clean or salvage and assume all are clean meaning they dont have proper paper work for the cars or are straight out lying and stealing from people. This entire situation has put me out of a car and still owing on the car. Im a single mother, I work full time, my son is 4 years old in therapy twice a week. And because this business sold me a car under false pretenses Im absolutely struggling! This is not legal and I cant imagine how many other people have been in this same situation because of their theft and lies! I want them to pay the difference back to me on the car! The car was worth no more than $4800 because of the situation with the title and they never informed me and sold the car to me for almost $9000! And now I still owe them $1400 after the insurance payout!

I have a copy of a clean title and Carfax to show that the vehicle that was sold to ******************** was not salvage or branded when it was sold to her. It has only recently been declared salvage after the wreck the she was involved in with the car. Out of goodwill we did put a motor in the vehicle after she purchased it at no cost to her. The insurance company gave a settlement breakdown on the valuation of the vehicle and it mentions nothing about the vehicle having a branded or salvage title nor did they ever imply or state that the vehicle was or would have been worth $9,000. The complaint from ******************** is absolutely false and I have provided evidence that we did not sell her a vehicle under false pretenses nor did we deceive her in any way. The real grievance is that the insurance company did not pay the replacement value of the vehicle.
