      On Oct 17th I was overcharged $426.92 on my credit card in this office and immediately pointed it out. The manager, *********************, told me not to worry about it, that the overage would be returned to my card. Instead of refunding the total amount back to my credit card they refunded only $132.92. When questioned on this they said that they refunded the remaining $280 back to a DISPOSABLE card I had used when I first became a client. The manager and I had already had a conversation about my not having that card anymore in a prior conversation. As a matter of fact I had a credit on my account because I no longer had that card to receive the overage back that I paid upon my first visit. Because the card was disposable it was thrown away at the office when the $600 that was on it was spent in paying my bill there. I pointed this out again and asked why they would try to return funds to a different card than the one I paid them with in the first place. I called and emailed many times and was told that there was nothing that could be done. I contacted *****************, the Legacy Lead for Matthews, ********************************************* and received no further help in the situation. I suggested that they recharge the card that they say that they sent the money too and put the refund on the correct card and they refused. The staff at this office overcharged me, then did not return the money to the card they took it from as they had promised they would. They say that they returned it to a disposable card that was thrown away on a prior visit. Basically, they over charged me, misappropriated my money and now will not make it right. $280 is a lot of money for me and no matter how many times I reach out to get it returned properly they refuse.
