      Let me start by saying that I am a lifelong Pella customer. I decided to have a front door and storm door installed on a new house just for the sake of having a Pella product in the new house. I made the mistake of using Pella of NC and it was absolutely the worst experience I have encountered in my 35 years of home ownership dealing with all sorts of businesses and contract services. My order consisted of an exterior door and a storm door. If not for the excellent installation by *****, I would rate Pella at ZERO STARS if possible. It took nearly 7 months to finally get the door and proper hardware installed due to damaged product, several re-orders, and a no-show by Pella on a scheduled installation. Pella did offer a compensation of slightly less than 10%, but I feel I deserved more based on the following timeline:12/9/24: Doors ordered 2/6/25: (1st install attempt) Door was severely damaged and had to be re-ordered 5/2/25: (2nd install attempts) Pella was a no show and did not contact me. (inexcusable)- Pella informed that my new door was missing and they would call me back when found - After a week they called and said they could not locate the door and had to re-order again 6/13/25: (3rd install attempt) Both doors are installed but there were no hardware/handles for the door - Hardware was re-ordered 7/7/25: Door hardware was installed Several Pella employees confided in me that Pella management can't keep up with small orders and that a recent influx of new employees was the cause of mismanagement and poor communication within Pella. Based on my experience, it is obvious that several key players on the Pella team have reached their level of incompetence. I would consider other options based on the high number of one star reviews on ******, Yelp and the Better Business Bureau.

      This company deserves "0" starts. No order can be right, no installation can be done. Worse service provided in my entire life.

      DONT BY PELLA! ******* distributor should be closed for incompetence! Salesman (or catalog) misrepresented privacy glass so now I have an entry door with a see-through window! The custom paint job completely missed the top of the window and the installation by Pella professional employees left the door with ****** and glue on it outside and a ***** across both doors on the inside. **************** was rude at best despite the on-hold recording stating, at Pella, we strive to exceed your expectations. No help from national Pella headquarters either so after 4 months of we will make it right, we were told they would repair and repaint on-sight and offer NO COMPENSATION. It took 2 days to do the work so instead of a new door I have a repaired door that I now see warping at the top. I went with a national brand company thinking I would have a better product and better service, but it appears that my double entry hurricane rated door that cost over $10,000 is a piece of c*** and the installation and service were just as crappy!

      Working with our Pella representative, Christy O’D******, was an amazing experience. Although I had done a lot of research, she was able to offer information beyond what we knew about Pella’s options. She is great at communication and really follows through. I never felt that she was trying to upsell me or pressure me into products I do not need. She’s definitely the one to ask for when planning your window/door project.

      We thought about doing just the front windows since we recently replaced our main front door, but we end up replacing all of them .

      On Oct. 5, 2023 my friend and I drove 2 hours so that I could see the showroom in Kill Devil Hills. I wanted to be able to see the Pella product firsthand. And I am thankful I did! Toddie was very attentive and listened to what I wanted and needed, and she was informative and I learned more in that 30 minutes than I have with anyone from a competing company. Your windows are high class and so are your people.

      Very disappointed in their service. We paid for parts for them to install to fix issues with our rollers and windows over 9 months ago and they have rescheduled their service appointment with us over 6 times now. We still haven’t seen them.

      We ordered windows 11/12/21, delivery was supposed to be March or April. Like so many things, they were late. We understood and waited. The problem was no one ever gave us an update. We finally started calling in August or September and low and behold they were sitting in the warehouse. The installers came around the middle of September and did a great job. The problem is the factory forgot to make a place for the screens to clip in. We paid them in full 9/21/22 and have seen one person since. They don’t return calls and certainly don’t call us to let us know what is happening with the screens.

      We were told that they just have too many big jobs to get done and don’t have time for individual jobs.

      I just want 6 screens put on my house. As one of the other customers said, these windows are not cheap.
