This attorney office handle the closing on a property that I sold. The attorney, *********************** and her paralegal, ******** were incredibly rude towards myself and my father, along with not providing customer service to us as a customer. I requested for the net proceeds from the transaction to be wired directly to my bank account on the day of closing. I was informed by them on the day of closing, that they would not wire the funds because ***** did not fill out their wire form and they did not verify his identity, that they would cut a check instead. They have had all of our information for over 30 days & NEVER bother to reach out to us to discuss this or to the attorney's office that we were using. They never advised that they needed to verify his identity until the closing date. They were upset that we didn't use them. We were also informed that they were still going to charge us for a wire/courier fee of $50 and not refund that to us when all they are doing is mailing a check out and because we used another attorney. This is DISCRIMATION! We were told that the check, our funds/net proceeds, would be available the next day after 10 am for us to pick up. When I arrived at the office, ******** came out to great me with an attitude, she wasn't nice in any way nor did she have a smile on her face. I was polite and asked her to wire the funds since my bank is going to put a hold on the check, she then told me that the attorney advised her they would need to charge us an additional wire fee of $50, making their total charge of $100 to wire/transfer funds. I refused to do this, as they were already charging one fee of $50 and refusing to refund that fee as is. They were incredibly rude and didn't care about me as the customer. If I didn't list my house for sale, they would never have had this business. I want a refund due to their LACK OF COMMUNICATION when they had over 30 days to reach out to us by email or mail, or call my attorney, which they never did.
