Have lived here since the beg of Dec. Has become a living nightmare and I pay a premium for the privilege of living here. This is a nonsmoking complex but it's not enforced. Their action plan is to contact tenets and inquire if they're smoking in addition to mass email. What am I missing here? Who would fess up to smoking when prohibited by the lease? I already sleep on a couch due to the noise. I stopped attempting to sleep downstairs when I realized I could hear everything going on in the neighbor's bathroom. Now I sleep on the couch surrounded by air purifiers due to the repulsive cigarette smoke filtering in my unit. Unfortunately, the only window in the unit doesn't work by design and the only door which opens onto the roof patio would require a ladder assuming there's a catch to leave it open. There's no screen with the door so birds and wildlife could get in. So double horrid with no fresh air to relieve the smoke. I cannot wait to leave here. Office mgm is friendly until you file complaints that are never resolved. Also ongoing is a neighbor that lets her dog out unattended on the rooftop patio and doesn't clean up after it. This is my view from the one door/window combo. Trivest M***** that manages this place does not return calls. They also own The Lofts at White Furniture which explains alot. I would suggest you run - don't walk as far away as you can get from here. Only thing Lofts at Haw River has going for it is a super maintenance team. I wish they managed it. Lofts - do no respond with "contact the office to work out the problems". I would not care to know how many times I have contacted the office. You can contact me for a change.
