On 12/12/22 my daughter made a tentative appointment for a consultation with ****************************************. I was present during the phone call & we had her staff (*************************) on speaker phone therefore I heard the entire conversation. During the initial call we were not told of any of their policies. My credit card was used and we were charged $400 for the consultation. A few days later we called to request to cancel the consultation & requested a refund. ****** stated she would contact her boss as she stated that she was unsure if we could get our refund. Later we were told we could not get our refund and all they could do was reschedule. We have requested a refund on several occasions but they are ignoring us. We went to the business location & all doors were locked so we called & were told they operate from other locations. Also, at the time the appointment was set up we were told it would be a phone consultation and we needed to provide a secondary person to contact in the event my daughter was not available. We gave them my name & number. The attorney (****** ***************************) called my daughter on the scheduled consultation date however, my daughter was unavailable due to being at the hospital. When ****************** was unable to reach my daughter she did not call me, the secondary person given to contact. Later that same day my daughter called the phone number when she saw that she had a missed call. ****************** was very rude, speaking over us and would not let us talk. She made comments like, we are talking now as if that was our consultation & apparently the call was dropped. The call lasted 4 minutes. We never received a consultation nor our refund.I am a 67 year old living on Social Security and my daughter is living on disability. My daughter has been living with me since her separation. She has been going through a extreme ongoing divorce for two years now which includes domestic abuse by her husband.Please assist us on getting our refund!Thank you
