    Myself and my 10 year old daughter came to the restaurant around 7:30. We walked around to get our food. It was buffet style. The entire buffet had no labels on the food. I did not see one label. I grabbed some chicken and broccoli, chicken wings, and potatoes skins. I only put on my plate what I thought was familiar even though nothing was labeled. I went to the grill grab some noodles one egg and raw chicken for the cook to cook it. As the cook was cooking my food and multiple others food the cook put shrimp into my plate.( I’m allergic to shellfish. Immediately I said to the cook you put shrimp in my food. He brushed me off and scooped the shrimp onto my plate. I asked if he spoke English. He said no. I asked the cooked that walked out the kitchen did he speak English he said no. I walked to the front to were the host stood it was 3 people standing there. I said I tried to get some habachi and the cook put shrimp in my plate and I’m allergic. She just smiled kept saying she was sorry she didn’t know how to help me. Then she said she was going to get someone and walked off. I sat down with my plate and looked up and noticed she was back at the hosting station and did not get anyone to help me. I got up and told my 10 year old daughter to let go. Some other lady came to ask did I pay I said no I did not eat anything. So I walked around the lady. She cut off my 10 year old daughter off and was stopping her from leaving. So i was pulling my daughter as she was holding her. My daughter phone falls and she picks my daughter phone up. She give it to her coworker they were passing my daughter phone back and forth. She called the police. I explained my side saying how I didn’t not eat the food and im allergic. The officer made me pay for half the bill even though myself or my daughter did not eat.

    I was truly taken aback at my experience at the Ichiban Grill this evening. I drove over an hour one way to go to this restaurant and the waitress we had never came to our table once she dropped off our drinks. I brought a guest along who had to go seek out other servers to see if he was able to get his drink refilled. He was only allowed to get one refill and I was only given my original glass with no refills. About half-way through the meal, the waitress appeared and handed me the check and then took my plate away from me as I was still trying to finish my meal, telling me I had to pay. I told her I wasn't done so she huffed off then returned five minutes later and demanded me to pay. It was not closing time so I was confused as to why she refused to leave the table, standing over me until I paid. I didn't add a tip onto the credit card receipt as I planned to leave a cash tip for her. She pointed to our receipts (there were two checks) and began raising her voice to the point where other customers turned and demanded to know why I didn't leave her a tip. I tried to explain my plan but she started to scream at me about not giving her a tip, shaking her copies of the receipts at me. I mentioned something to the man at the front desk as I was leaving and he basically told me so what-too bad. I have raved about this place in the past but I never advise anyone to go there after the shockingly terrible way I was treated tonight. Disgusting!
