    Why is it every time I leave this agency, three times, I feel defeated, shamed and gaslighted?Every time and this will be the last time, the rules change, no kind of emotional intelligence or empathy . Today I took my eviction paperwork and requested some help with my arrearages. I inform the caseworker I have been to court and the judge advises me to work out a payment plan with my landlord. Can you help me?The caseworker she then tells me that they can give me a ******** dollars if I can come up with the balance of ******** owed to my landlord.I'm thinking to myself if I had ******** I would not be here.I let her know I am homeless and I can not come up with that kind of money can you help.I swear to God she says, "Can you prove it", this time I ask her if she can tell me how can I prove it, she says nothing. I left the establishment.For all the marginalized people that come thru that agency day in and day out you are the real heros to put up with workers who have long had any compassion or love for what they do.

    I had a deeply disappointing experience with Urban Ministry today. Despite providing all necessary documentation, the staff seemed more interested in finding reasons not to help me with my eviction situation rather than offering the support I urgently needed. Their lack of compassion and unwillingness to assist was truly disheartening. I hope they improve their services to genuinely help those in need in the future.

    I wish I could rate this place no stars at all, not online is the name of the business misleading, the staff is very elderly and forgetful. They do not help you in crisis situations and as I thought I was the only one to have this issue for an entire year of being sent to them before experiencing homelessness I went to its ****** reviews and was just as displeased. im not sure if everyone knows to report them here but I am going to take the lead way in promoting to do so. They need to be investigated as they do not help people in need. only whom they know. My first visit she looked at me and said you dont look like you need help, very disrespectful as I had just had a baby and been wearing the same clothes since before I had him, just because I know how to look presentable and im not on drugs doesn't mean I need help. very judgmental place. nothing ministry about this place, just urban.
