    12/13/2022 Subject: COMPLAINT FOR SOUTHERN ELEVATOR COMPANY, INC- Dispute resolution Company: Southern Elevator The elevator at ******** was suddenly stopped working. I have contacted Jeff *****, a Sale Representative for Southern elevator, and a contract to repair the elevator for $4999.00 was sent to me. I have signed the agreement and after several attempts Jeff has contacted the Richmond staff and they finally came and repair the elevator. VERY UNRELIABLE STAFF My concerns are as followed: #1The Quote for the repair was as mentioned above $4999.00 and I have paid it. When I get access to the payment platform, I notice a $6542.00. I have tried to contact them in January, and as noted in my email I did not get a reply until March. SOUTHERN ELEVATOR bill me for 2 men. Why 2man?? 1 man was not able to diagnose the problem? I have asked that question in several emails, but no one give me a reason why 2 men had to come. I have talked to La Wana ****, Operations Manager on several occasion; however, she was not willing to investigate why I got charge for 2 men. #2: They have altered the initial contract. Please look at the one I signed and the one that was recently emailed to me #3: I have request to cancel the agreement because I only had 1 MAINTENANCE Done and the Tech who did it the maintenance checked YES for everything. I had several items that needed repair per a tech from **** Elevator. La Wana **** sent me an email asking me to pay for all the years. Southern Elevator is a bad company. They are unreliable and they try to rip-off customers. Their work quality is extremely poor. In order to be fair, I am willing to pay half-the work for 1 MAN to come and diagnose the elevator - $3271.00. None of the staff gave me that option. It is a fraudulent act to altered a contract after it has signed. My contract with SOUTHERN ELEVATOR COMPANY has been voided. If we look at the wording in the contract, I really should not have to pay for the repair. It is clearly stated in the contract that Southern Elevator will provide necessary LABOR and MATERIALS for the repair.
