My tenants decided to ****** their lease early due to purchasing a property. I decided that after the contract ended I would be selling my property. This company has now charged me $700 for a selling fee. The fee is $350. They charged me twice. The problem with this is that my property is still under their management. It has not been transferred to anyone else, listed for sale, no contracts to sell were signed, etc. why are they charging me this fee? This is robbery and if this is not resolved I will get a lawyer involved.

I have moved out of the rental house I lived in at *****************************************************, *****, and now they are trying to charge me the security deposit of over $1000 in additional charges for items that are standard for landlords to do when people vacate rental properties. I am being charged to have walls painted, to have a smoke detector reattached that was part never fixed as part of a previous was work order, to place a shelf inside of the refrigerator that was left out by the cleaner I hired from their preferred vendor list, and a number of other items that I feel are just a scam to get additional money from me. I am an Airmen who has spent a great deal of my time here deployed. I had a number of issues with this property including foundation settling that made my doors hard to close and issues with excessive water bills that came from leaks. At the end of my leasing term, I decided to find somewhere else to live because of lack of upkeep from the property management company. I moved out early and hired cleaners to make sure the house was ready. A door had been scratched so I bought a new door to replace the old one, but was unable to hang it myself because the floors are uneven due to settling issues. I am being charged $125 to paint the front of that door and another $125 to paint the back side. This is just one example of the excessive fees. I contacted the property management office to ask them for their grievance procedures and for a contact person to dispute the charges and the leasing agent told me she couldn't help me with that and I had to figure it out myself. I have contacted them several times and all I've been told is pay the extra money and forfeit my security deposit or they will send this to collections. I am attaching the billing statement for your review.

In response to the complaint by Justice ******, we do not feel his complaint is justified. Please see all documents attached. Included is the before photos which were taken 2/23/2021, prior to the tenant taking possession and the home was professionally painted prior to his move-in.  Also attached is the final inspection which includes photos of how the property was left. We understand this can be upsetting and we did take his concerns into consideration, however, the property was not left in good conidtion as you can see in the final inspection when comparing them to the before photos. We also included his move-in inspection form which was completed by Justice ****** and turned into **, there was very minimal items mentioned on this. We also consider reasonable wear and tear on our properties when completing our final inspection but the damages in the home were beyond this. We spoke with Justice several times, in which he even agreed to some of the damages and feel we gave him an opportunity to dispute and a fair response.
