On December 13, 2021, a Boulevard Pawn & Jewelry store employee sold me a pair of audio speakers for a 2001 Honda Accord and made explicit representations that the speakers would and stated that that if they did not that I had seven days from the date of purchase to return them for a full refund. The purchase was charged to my Mastercard ending in **** in the amount of $32.01. On December 20, 2021, within seven days of the purchase, I returned the audio speakers directly to the store because they would not the vehicle as represented. The store has since failed and/or refused to refund the purchase back to the original method of payment, and as of today, I have not received any further response from this merchant. The store has the benefit of the returned merchandise and I have not been issued a credit to my credit card, and any gift card that the store issues would have no use or value to me since I live in ******** more than 300 miles away from the store. The store apparently has a policy for "No Cash Refund"; however, this was not a cash purchase, it was a credit card purchase - which means that the store policy applies only to cash purchase. With a credit card purchase, as in this case, of course there would be "No Cash Refund" because the store cannot give cash back for a credit card transaction as it would be against credit card regulations and may violate applicable State law.
