Unfortunately, I have not received a response from this company about the plumbing issue until I generated a negative review this morning. My property manager was told by the company that since the water heater was leaking that they would not come and fulfill the service request, even though they were scheduled for that day between 4-7pm, that was Friday 12 JAN. ** the homeowner, I left a message on their office voicemail, text the cell phone number provided, also leaving a message there, and did not receive a response. Due to the company's lack of competence and failure of proficiency, I purchased a water heater and had it installed that day, to prevent further damage. Today, Friday 19 JAN, my property manager received an angry phone call from the owner because of the review. The fact that the Bass Plumbing consciously charged the warranty company for a new heater speaks volumes about their professionalism and even raises some questions about their ethics. We all know how warranty companies operate, so that means Bass Plumbing was paid a service fee and paid for the part that they ordered. Like I stated in my review this morning on their website...SHAME on you Bass Plumbing!

In response to your negative review, I "***********************" attempted to call the number we have listed on the work order provided to us by your ********************* which has YOUR name ,***********************, listed but the number provided goes to your property manager. (1st False Statement)  When calling this number Friday 1/12 at 6:12 pm, after providing the details and attributes for your water heater needing to be replaced to your warranty company as they require to move the process along, your property manager did not answer. At this point in the service request, it is YOUR warranty company's responsibility to contact you to go over what is or is not included in your policy as we are not privy to this information. Once your warranty company gets into contact with you and any non covered charges are agreed upon, it is then when the warranty company ORDERS the water heater for the replacement. Bass Plumbing "DOES NOT & DID NOT" supply, purchase, or provide the water heater for replacement as this is provided to us by your ********************* making your statement false. (2nd False Statement) Therefor Bass Plumbing "DID NOT & WILL NOT" be billing out to your ********************* for this making another one your statements 100% completely false. (3rd False Statement) As far as your comment refusing to go out, I personally spoke to your tenant who I stated the only thing we would be performing on the first visit was to take pictures of the water heater and getting the attributes of what the heater is, thus in order to provide this required information to your warranty company. We do not replace the water heater on the first visit allowing your warranty company to follow THEIR policies and procedures with your policy requirements. (4th False Statement) After speaking to your tenant, I described to him the valve to turn off the water to the heater and he stated he would send me the required pictures, which he did, showing the water heater in fact leaking and what all is needed by the warranty company to move the replacement forward. With this said, if this task was not performed by Bass, then your ********************* would not have had the details of your water heater to provide you with a cash out option, which you took unbeknownst to us until after the water heater was ordered, supplied and ready to pick up on Tuesday 1/16. Regarding your comment pertaining to communication, It wasnt until our office reached out trying to schedule the installation of the replacement water heater, when we were told about the heater already being replaced. No-one from your *********************, property management firm, or yourself reached out to inform Bass of this having been completed. It wasnt until I read the first negative review you left for Bass on the warranty companys platform I knew of their being an issue with the work order request.  As for reaching out to your property manager, AGAIN, this is the only number listed on our work order provided to us by you *********************. I did speak with her calmly and professionally (5th False Statement) providing the details and tasks I completed on your behalf as part of the work order request and why she left the negative review. She responded, she did not leave a negative review and did not know about one having been left. In addition while speaking to your property manager, I requested your telephone number. This is when I called you on Friday and you picked up the phone. You did not speak as you were in conversation with someone else and then you realized the phone was answered and you hung up on me. I waited a few minutes giving you an opportunity to finish what you were doing and I called back. You sent me to voicemail and responded with a text message stating you would call me right back. As of this message I still have never received a phone call back from you. I take any negative review serious and respond accordingly to see both sides of the situation as well as provide our side of what took place allowing the complaining party the opportunity to become informed of what took place on our end. Almost 100% of these phone conversations are me informing the policy holder how the Home Warranty Companies operate in matters as these which includes the break down in the details and operation of the Home Warranty Companies. As far as ethics go, it would behoove you to do your research talking to both parties before posting a negative review commenting on someones ethics, proficiency, and competency being you only know your side of what took place, thus speaking volumes about your competency of the entire subject. In conclusion, I have clearly responded to both of your negative reviews exposing multiple FALSE STATEMENTS left by you. I would highly encourage speaking to the opposite party in any scenario of your daily activities prior to making a false and incompetent review.

Thank You Better Business Bureau for everything you do for us business owners and allowing us to have a platform to respond to negative and false statements left by parties who are not directly informed.

I have to say that in this instance, *********************** went above and beyond to install the part for my hot water heater as soon as it came in. Through my Home Warranty I had been given a different company which I couldnt get a hold of. Consequently, I was transferred to Bass plumbing. He ordered the part and said it would take 10 to 12 business days. I called each week to check, but the part hadnt come in. I was reassured each time that as soon as it came in, he would be here. And thats what he did! Even though I was not on the schedule he called on a Wednesday evening about 5:30 PM asking if I was home because he had the part! He told me once the part came in, he would ask them to please find the box with the part for me. And he said the people stayed overtime to find the small box among a truckload of boxes so I would not have to go without hot water any longer.(I had been taking cold showers for three weeks with severe arthritis which only aggravated my condition.) So he called his wife and let her know that hed be running late for his daughters volleyball game because he had to do this first. I was so thankful that he made the arrangements as well as put in the extra time and effort so I would not have to go without hot water any longer. THANK YOU, ************************!

In response to this tenant's juvenile review, **** was dispatched this service request originally on Friday Aug19th, however our schedule was already booked for this day. We did however schedule our next open business day which was Aug 21st. ************** arrived on time and found the thermal expansion tank to be leaking which was located on the top of the water heater and was leaking down onto and into the water heater. Unfortunately the homeowners policy with her warranty company does not cover this repair. The tech did however reach out to the owner, provided a retail bid to replace the expansion tank while on site, then installed the new expansion tank. After installing the tank, the technician DID relight the pilot before leaving. A short time later we were informed the pilot light was no longer operating and we were demanded by the tenant to stop what we were doing and to come back immediately. Because our work order from the warranty company was for a leak, the homeowner would be required by the warranty company to place a new work order request before we could go back out for the pilot light. The tenant was made aware of this as well however then lied and stated the just installed expansion tank was now leaking. This lie was told only to get us to go back out just to light the pilot light. On Aug 25th, despite the obvious that the tenant was being dishonest, BPI went back out and found nothing leaking with the expansion tank but only a dishonest and disgruntled tenant standing waiting to argue with the tech about not being allowed to work on the pilot assembly before receiving a new work order from the warranty company as previously stated. The tenant then became hostile yet again with the technician calling him a piece of S***.  On Aug 31 we received a new work order for the additional work needed diagnosed however the technician who was out for BPI did not want to return to this hostile tenant only to be belittled and yelled at. ***********************, owner, who resides in ************ made the hour and 15 minute trip up to diagnose the water heater. ******* was asked by the tenant to walk all the way around the side of the town home building in due of being allowed to simply walk the 45ft  through the kitchen and living room to the rear of the building where the water heater was located in an outdoor storage room. After attempting to light the pilot light for a minute or so, the tenant walked out the sliding back door and immediately wanted to bring up the interaction with my technician. At this point, I had already heard what the technician incountered and a variation of a story from the the tenant. I politely told the tenant I was only here to diagnose the water heater and that I would report my finding to the homeowner and the warranty company. Thus dodging any bad contact with the tenant. However the tenant wasn't having it. She laid into to me like I was a piece of trash. She belittled, yelled and threatened me with negative reviews to the point I just wanted to walk away. She went storming back into the home as I started to walk away, however when I turned around to get the pictures of the water heater i needed to provide the warranty company, tenant sorted out the home for round two. At this point I gave up on the water heater and walked back to my my van. I then called the home owner to provide her the findings and also the details of my interaction with the tenant, which ended up just like the prior technician's. I told the homeowner "Who I found out at this time has multiple properties which we have also serviced with great reviews" I would be happy to help moving forward with the water heater repairs but only if the tenant was not present. Unfortuanly in todays times, social media platforms makes everyone fell ten feet tall and bullet proof. Hiding behind a computer screen and writing false claims fueled from being lesser informed about the bigger picture. BPI is employed by the homeowners home warranty company who allows us to work only on what is requested on the work order. Im sorry but BPI is not a nonprofit and would like to be compensated for the work we perform. As for the tenant, I hope one day she finds piece in herself and hope no-one treats her is the same manner she extended to BPI.

On another note directed to BBB, could one day the BBB create a platform where service providers can go and rate the homeowner/tenants. Sure would even the playing field don't you think!!!

Well, I almost fell in the same trap as the others bad reviews about *********** hole!! What you read is so true!!!! I tried to get him to install my hot water heater that I had already purchased (So no ********************* was involved with this installation) He only had to deal with me directly. Our first phone contact, he wanted to see pictures. So I sent him about 5 pictures of the old water heater. Once he seen those pictures on our second phone conversation ******* gave me a quote (Turn Key) of $550 dollars to install and remove the old tank. WOW, this is going good so far..But while we were trying to schedule a day and time to come, Here come the old BATE AND SWITCH!!! All of the sudden he wants to talk about installing a Tankless water heater for $3,200 dollars. After ************************************************************************************ that he would drive the new tank back to ********** for me!! He eventually said to think about it over the weekend and let him know. Me and the wife did and we decided that it was not a good fit for us. So we contacted **************** and told him that we want to stick with the tank that we brought and could he put us on his schedule. Nevertheless to say, it's been 5 days and we haven't heard anything back from him. He never had any intention of installing my tank water heater!! I GUESS WHAT THEY SAY IS TRUE, HE DON'T WANT TO GET HIS HAND DIRTY!!!!!! This man talks a good game but he's only a slickster and will play game with you!!!!! So please save yourself that aggravation and money and stay away from this company!!!!! YOU BEEN WARNED!!

In response to this homeowners unnecessary review, ******************** contacted BPI directly by telephone inquiring a quote to replace his existing direct vented water heater. ******************** had already purchased and took delivery of his new water heater so our estimate was for installation labor and necessary materials needed to bring new water heater up to code. After talking with ******************** about the water heater he purchased, the water heater was a solid vented direct vent model which is mainly used as new "first time" installations. Because the exhaust vent is solid, BPI could not confidently assure the exhaust vent would line up with the existing hole through the wall and the hole may require moving or enlarging. This would also require repair to the exterior of the home as well. After explaining these details, ******************** asked about other options and enquired about a tankless water heater himself. *********************** then spent the following 45 minutes explaining "in detail" the pros and cons of a tankless, educating ******************** how they work along with requesting pictures of the current water heater installed in his home being we had never been to his home before. ******************** was quoted originally $3,500 to complete the replacement but stated he was on a budget and asked if he agreed to move forward with the tankless could BPI do it for $3,200. Realizing ******************** was retired and on a fixed income, BPI decided to help him and install the tankless at the reduced amount. We also offered to help ******************** by returning the tank water heater he had already purchased to *********** The decision was now up to ******************* to make on which water heater he wanted to have installed. During the conversation with ********************, *********************** explained in detail the timeframe for availability to install what water heater he decided to go with was only the next two days since ******* was going on vacation for the next ten days after. ******* did not hear from ******************** before leaving for vacation with his family as explained during his conversation with ********************. When ******* returned from vacation and was back to work, a voicemail was left by ******************** stating he wanted to stay with installing the direct vent tank water heater. By the time ******************* called however, ******* was not available and did not take work phone on vacation with him. Because ******************** was not responded to by *********************** in a timeframe he thought, ******************** felt compelled to write the complaint/ review with the BBB. Though ******************** wrote this complaint, *********************** attempted to contact ******************** explaining and reminding him he was gone and being in contact. Thus being on vacation.

Unfortunately it is hard to fathom getting a bad/negative review from an individual you never met, never stepped foot on their property, spent a total of over an hour and fifteen minutes through several phone calls helping him make a decision on his water heating, lowering your price to help him afford the replacement, and finally offering to return his tank water heater to the location he purchased it from. Very discouraging an individual would become such a nasty person to someone who only offered to help him. In all reality, who's time was actually wasted hear????
