    I purchased a new Subaru Ascent from Cross Creek Subaru on June 9, 2023.This vehicle comes equipped with SiriusXM satellite but it is not activated until the vehicle is sold.I explained to ***********************, the salesperson at Cross Creek Subaru, I did not want ************** and that I did not want it to be activated. **************** indicated that only Subaru Customer Advocacy could help me. I contacted Subaru Customer Advocacy and they simply told me that I had to get the dealer to resolve this issue.This is commonly known as the run-a-round. Such evasive efforts have left me with the opinion that Subaru and Cross Creek are not interested in any future purchases from me or my husband.I have tried to resolve the issue with Cross Creek and Subaru. After being told by Subaru to again contact Cross Creek we contacted ***************. I provided her with email transcript's with Subaru. She promised to notify me when she received the transcripts. I called her several times but she has never accepted my calls or returned my calls. I have waited patiently for over two weeks but still no response from her.I am very unhappy someone, either Subaru or the dealership, signed me up for a subscription without my permission. In signing me up they gave SiriusXM personal information which I did not want them to obtain. I don't believe that Subaru or Cross Creek had the legal right to do this without my permission. As a dual citizen with citizenship in the ** this may have violated the consent laws of the ************ Protection Regulation (GDPR).I do intend to file several complaints with both commercial and government consumer and business monitoring groups with the hope of resolving this issue. My husband and I are also looking into possible legal action.

    I recently had some bodywork done for my Subaru Forrester; I spent about $1,500. The bodywork was terrific, but my Subaru engine started making a weird noise. I checked my oil, which was dangerously low, so I had to add more oil to my vehicle, reducing the noise I heard. I take my vehicle to the service department of the same dealership to check it out. I asked the dealership if any of the mechanics had to take the oil filter off to do the bodywork... the foreman at the service department kept cutting me off and blamed the previous auto service that changed my oil about 9-10 months previously. Still, they were the last ones to change the oil several months after that oil change. I do not recommend doing service-related work with Cross Creek Subaru because they are rude to their customers and do not care for the needs/ concerns of the customers.
