Date of Transaction:8/22/25 Amount of Money Paid:I disputed the companys invoice of $3,964.25 and refused to sign the Bill of Lading. I later paid $3,022.67 to another licensed mover to complete the job. Accelerated Deliveries also attempted to run an unauthorized charge on my credit card, which I disputed as fraud. What the Business Committed to Provide:Company representative ***** assured me in advance that three professional movers would complete the move in 68 hours for no more than $2,500. He specifically said $2,500 was aiming high. The written estimate was $2,144$2,606. The owner, ** ********, later admitted they have recorded calls confirming these assurances.Nature of the Dispute:On moving day, only one professional mover and two trainees arrived. One trainee admitted it was his second day ever. They worked from 8:30 AM until 10:30 PM, left about 30% of the home unmoved, and mishandled unloading (boxes labeled Kitchen and Master were misplaced upstairs or left in the garage). Despite failing to complete the move, Accelerated Deliveries presented a bill of $3,964.25. When I refused, their pricing shifted multiple times ($4,000, then $2,200, then $3,300). I did not sign the Bill of Lading as the job was incomplete and disputed. On August 24, I hired another licensed mover to finish the work, which required 5 movers working five hours at $3,022.67.Attempts to Resolve:I formally documented the issues with the company on 8/23. The owner was initially apologetic by phone but later sent me a demand letter insisting I pay $3,287.75. Instead of resolving the issue, they attempted to run an unauthorized charge on my credit card. I disputed this with my card issuer as fraud.Advertising/Representation:The companys website and representative promised three professional movers, branded trucks, and no hidden charges. What was delivered was one mover, two untrained workers, an unmarked Penske truck, and a bill almost double the promised maximum.Business Response

We appreciate the opportunity to provide clarification.
On August 5, 2025, Mr. ***** signed a Confirmation Letter with a non-binding estimate of $2,144$2,606. On August 22, 2025, before services began, he signed both the Move Rate Acknowledgment and the Uniform Household Goods Bill of Lading, which established hourly rate, travel fee, and terms, and included $40,000 of ********************************** worked ***** labor hours, confirmed by logs and GPS. The team consisted of an experienced lead mover and two trained movers. One was newer to our company but had prior experience and completed warehouse training. The customer perceived him as a trainee because he asked questions, but we view this as careful service.
The invoice totaled $3,9*****. We applied a $625 goodwill credit, reducing the balance to $3,287.75.
Midway through the move, the crew lead recognized all items might not fit in one trip. He asked Mrs. ***** if the crew could return Monday at no extra charge, and she agreed. The truck was packed accordingly, but Mr. ***** later reversed that agreement. The next day, our ** repeated the free return offer, which was declined. I then personally offered one full day of free labor (valued at $600) despite regulations requiring invoices be paid before concessions. This was also declined.
The *********************************** Public Staff reviewed our documentation and confirmed compliance.
Accelerated Deliveries acted in good faith, performed the contracted service, documented all charges, and extended over $1,200 in concessions. We regret the customers dissatisfaction, but the service was rendered, the billing was accurate, and all resolution offers were refused.
Sincerely,
Accelerated Deliveries, LLCCustomer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:1) The customer perceived him as a trainee because he asked questions.
Not accurate. After I tipped the crew, two workers told me directly they were still in training. One admitted it was his second day ever moving. That is not the three professional movers I was promised.
2) Mrs. ***** agreed the crew could return Monday at no extra charge, then Mr. ***** reversed that agreement.
False. No agreement was ever made to return Monday. We had a landlord walk-through and the home had to be fully cleared and cleaned by Monday. That timing was known in advance. On Saturday, ***** offered to come back Monday and we declined for the same reason it would have been declined Friday: Monday was too late. We therefore hired another licensed mover to finish the job on Sunday.
3) Only four hours of work remained.
The facts say otherwise. On August 24 a five-man crew from another licensed mover worked five hours to finish what Accelerated Deliveries left undone. That is substantially more than four hours for three men.
4) The *********************************** Public Staff reviewed our documentation and confirmed compliance.
This is incorrect. My Public Staff case is open and pending. There has been no confirmation of compliance to me.
5) Over $1,200 in concessions.
The written concession I received was $625 off a $3,912.75 balance, resulting in a demand of $3,287.75. I was also told $2,200 at one point and $3,300 at another. These shifting figures underscore the inconsistency of the billing.
6) Unauthorized Credit Card Charge
Accelerated Deliveries attempted to process a charge on my credit card using the card number I provided only for the initial deposit. I never signed a credit card authorization form, nor did any of the documents I signed authorize them to store or re-use that card for final billing. This charge was disputed with my card issuer as fraudulent, and I preserved screenshots as evidence.Business Response

Accelerated Deliveries values professionalism, transparency, and fairness. We respectfully address the consumers concerns as follows:
A new team member was present on the move. Their labor was provided at no cost to the customer while still being paid by the company, and they were supervised by experienced movers at all times. Since then, we have strengthened our training protocols to prevent similar misunderstandings.
Our records confirm that standard loading adjustments were made and that an offer was extended to return Monday, consistent with our service procedures. While the offer was declined, it was a genuine attempt to provide additional service.
We cannot verify comparisons to another moving company, as no inventory lists, photos, or time sheets were submitted. However, our own signed inventories and invoices confirm the accuracy of services rendered.
The *********************************** case remains open, and we will fully cooperate with the Public Staff. We have preserved phone recordings where the consumer acknowledged services and terms.
A $625 concession was applied to the balance as a goodwill gesture, not as an admission of fault, and this was reflected in the invoice. Our contracts require payment upon job completion, which has not been made.
In summary: Accelerated Deliveries acted in good faith, provided services, and extended voluntary concessions. We cannot validate outside comparisons, but our documented records substantiate our position. We remain committed to professionalism and transparency and will continue to cooperate with BBB, the ****, and any independent review.Customer Answer

On August 22, the crew worked from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and still left roughly 30% of my belongings at the origin. I did not sign the destination Bill of Lading because the work was incomplete and the charges were disputed.
Trainee at ****************start="544" data-end="547">The company admits a new team member was present but claims their labor was at no cost. That is false. The invoice reflects full hourly billing for all three men, and two admitted to me directly they were still in training. One said it was his second day ever moving. This was not the three professionals I was promised, and it slowed the job.

That is misleading. I provided them with the Bill of Lading and photos showing what was left undone. The second movers invoice shows a five-man crew worked five hours at $3,022.67 to finish. That is concrete evidence, not speculation, and disproves Accelerateds claim that only four hours remained.

Summary
The move was misrepresented, unfinished, and arbitrarily billed, with an unauthorized card charge attempted after dispute. The evidence I provided speaks for itself.Initial Complaint

The service agreement, confirmed in writing via email, specified:$282/hour rate for 4 movers Estimated 8 hours of labor and 1 hour of travel Move from one 4-bedroom, 2-story home to another 1.1 miles away $50 deposit paid to secure the booking On July 26, 2025, I received a confirmation/reminder email from the company. I also called that day to ask a question, and they answered promptly. On August 2, 2025 20 minutes before the scheduled arrival time I received a call from the company informing me they would not be able to perform the move. Their stated reason was that one of their two drivers had quit, and they could not operate their 26-foot box trucks (which do not require a CDL license).I explained that I had to be out of my home by August 3, 2025. I asked for alternative arrangements, including:A late Saturday move A Sunday move A referral to another mover Any form of accommodation or discount *********** declined all options and told me the earliest they could move me was Monday, August 4, which was not possible for my situation. The manager promised to refund my deposit right away and send a written confirmation of the cancellation.
