    I went to the *** store to have 4 documents notarized for my signature. One document required 2 witnesses and I asked two customers if they would witness the document and they agreed. I was the charged $5.00 for each of those signatures that I asked for them to sign, The charge was for "notarizing addition signatures" which was not the case. The notary on the document was for me only and if they claimed to be notarizing these two individuals then their drivers license would have been required which it was not even asked for. I was charged $50 for 4 signatures and should not have been charged $10.00 for the witnesses. Also the witnesses would have had to complete the notary log at *** like I did if their signatures were being notarized which they did not. *** should refund me $10 and I will think twice before going to this *** store in the future.

    Sorry for convenance to customer and you.  

    refer to complain regarding Additional charges for Witness,  If we need to see witness to sign the documents in front of us then there will be a 5 $ Charges.  per signature, I spoke to you on phone that we need to see the documents before I come to conclusion. 

    Please request the customer to come with all notarized papers and charges receipt. I will take care of his complain and do the needful. 

    Please see the attached copy of the charges

    I am rejecting this response because: First I have not spoke with anyone at  the *** store that statement is not true. I have only communicated through the BBB. Second there was not an attachment in the response as indicated however I have attached the receipt. Apparently my original complaint was not read. If I'm paying for witness signatures for which I asked for them to sign not *** and *** charged me the $5 per signature which states "notary additional signatures" on the receipt then as I stated previously, the notary is required to view their drivers license and make a record in their notary book this was never done nor were they upfront with these addition charges until after the witnesses singed.

    Regarding the customer complain , In previous email , I sent cut out for charges, ,also I request that before we come to any decision, we need to see the notarized documents, if there is any mistake done by us, we will refund the amount which was charged extra.

    I am rejecting this response because: The documents is not the issue again they ignored my complaint. The issue is I was charged a notary fee for witnesses signatures which was not stated to me upfront and which signatures were not notarized by requiring a drivers license. The witness on the document did not require their signatures to be notarized to begin with just my signature and I asked them to sign, This is just *** nickle and dimming customers. I have attached the document which clearly had my name only as being notarized.
