    They misdiagnosed the foundation problem twice, upcharged mid-job (from $4k to $8k) and still messed up the job. During the process of installing their beams underneath the house, they shifted the entire house and caused damage in excess of $20k. I now have split ceiling, countertops pulled away from the wall, uneven floors, and broken bathroom tiles. In the middle of the job they asked me to sign a liability waiver so that they wouldn't be responsible for any damage and I refused - they stopped work at that point. They later admitted they were wrong and offered to tweak their work but refused to fix the damage they caused. Not having any trust left for them, I requested their insurance information to file a claim. They said they would provide that information but then ghosted me and stopped responding to emails or phone calls. I'm not sure they have insurance at this point. Not only was it a waste of $8k, but they caused damage far in excess. This transaction happened in February 2023.

    I would not recommend this company. They have wasted so much of my time only to not provide any service.I called ******** Systems to find someone who could work on my dehumidifier. They gave me SE Crawlspace and Repair's name and number. When I called SE Crawlspace and Repair, I explained that I had a dehumidifier that was ***** years old and that had stopped working. I needed a technician to come out and take a look at it and tell me what was wrong with it. IT might be something as simple as a capacitor that needed to be replaced or the compressor might need to be replaced. If it was the compressor, we would have to look at prices of replacing a compressor vs a new system.They verified that I had never been a customer and then they scheduled a technician for a couple weeks away. Then they canceled on me 3 or 4 times, I can't remember. Then promised to send someone on Saturday. They sent a Sales person, not a technician. The Sales person did not open the machine but told me the compressor was frozen and that I needed to change the air filter. When I asked for him to open up the the dehumidifier and take a look at it, he said he did not know how to do that and that I would have to get a technician out.When changing the air filter did not work and I called to get a technician out, I was told that I had been talking to the wrong department (the main telephone number) the entire time and that despite having several appointments scheduled with a technician, I would have to talk to the ******************* The entire ****************** was out sick and I could leave a voicemail. The manager above the service department was not in and the only person above that person was the owner and they would not give out his number. When I asked to speak to the manager of the person I was currently talking to, that manager said that they don't work on equipment installed by other people (despite being an authorized service provider of basement systems) and hung up me.
