      *******'s Motors of ******* engages in deceptive marketing practices to lure customers in with great prices on their website and then claim that the posted price was a "mistake" only to raise it once you try to buy the car. Today, on April 4, 2024 we went to check out a RAV4 with a posted price of $33,998 on their website (I have a screenshot to prove it). After test driving the car and saying we wanted to buy it they said that the price on the website was a mistake and it should be $35,998, a $2,000 increase. They even changed the website while we were sitting there. These kinds of price shenanigans have been going on with used car dealerships since my grandparents were alive and buying cars, so the idea that this was a mistake is a bunch of BS.Needless to say, this change took the price of the vehicle from a good price to not a good price, and we left the dealership without buying the car. Even if they were willing to negotiate it wouldn't have mattered because we didn't want to work with people who were playing these kinds of games.I wouldn't go to *******'s Motors without having already agreed on a full invoice of out-the-door pricing (tax, fees, and everything included) in writhing. Don't waste the gas and time to drive there without getting it all worked out first or they will just change the game. ****, they may still try to pull some ****, but at least you'll have it in writing. Clearly the writing on their own website isn't good enough for them.I will say, on a positive note, that the people were friendly and courteous, so at least they'll try and scam you with a smile.

      The lifetime powertrain warranty is a sales tactic. It's not as simple as they claim. We bought a 35k used truck believing and leaving in security that the Lifetime powertrain warranty would cover as presented. After 8k in repairs, to no negligence on our part, Matthew Motor offers no reimbursement nor customer service satisfaction after the sale. After going thru 4 managers, operations manager. No resolve. The general manager didn't even reach out. We regret referring mom and friends based on a lifetime powertrain warranty. Got us, great sales tactic! Be warned and aware. Matthew Motors... NOT the walking or working man's friend.

      I have spoken with Ms. ****** about this situation. I have explained to her that it's not Matthews Motors who turned down her claim, it was the warranty company. Their reason for turning down their claim was because the ******'s provided hand written receipts that were 2 oil changes short and the engine air filter was one short which indeed voids their warranty. Mr. ****** also informed me that he had never done a transmission service on this vehicle which also voided there warranty. Also the hand written invoices didn't have the name of the shop or business and didn't include time of service. I have all documentation from the warranty company on file. Again, this is a ****** vs the warranty company problem. I have done all due diligence to try to help the ******'s with this matter. The facts are, with all due respect, the ******'s did not keep proper records of all their maintenance requirements and that is the reason for the claims to be turned down by the warranty company.

      The point is... Matthew Motors should have in some way, "made this right" for THEIR customer!! The sales tactic is VERY misleading and should better be explained!!
