              I used this law firm for the closing of my house on January 18, 2022. They also held an escrow account for the closing of the house to be used for foundation work on the house. This law firm pulled funds from the escrow account without my knowledge or permission to pay for an appraisal which had already been paid for in the closing costs. When it came time to pay the contractor for the foundation work they cut a check and I noticed it was missing $550. When I brought this to their attention it took more than 5 attempts to get a response from someone. When I got a response finally they said it was a part of the contract and they had to use it to pay an appraisal fee. However everything was paid at closing including the appraisal. This was confirmed by our Lendor and the law firm’s accountant. The escrow account was in my name and not allowed to be touched without my permission. They still have yet to pay me back the money they took from it. Im still having trouble getting in touch with anyone about it at this point. I have already reached the deadline that I owe all the final funds to the contractor and the law firm is aware.

              Did not enjoy working with this group in *********************, **. Lack of interest in customer service (not returning calls when we had questions and when they did answer, you felt like a burden based on lack of interest and timeliness.) Did not make buying a home an enjoyable experience and would not recommend to my friends/neighbors. Called in process to speak to local office head attorney to see if we could get questions answered but he did not call back or they never gave him the message. You want to work with business and people who care, who try and who are professional. Our closing attorney was, but the support all the way up to the close was lackluster and frustrating.
