I bought a car from this company and a month after getting her she started running rough. In June I put her in the shop for 2 weeks and they couldn't get her fixed. Then I had her towed to the ****** dealership. They thought they fixed the problem but the issue continues. I had her towed back to the ****** dealership when the check engine light came on. They diagnosed the problem and replaced the part. She started running rough again yesterday just like before. I called DreamWorks and they said that I need to take it to one of their shops which is too far to drive her. They are unwilling to help me pay for anything. And the warranty I was sold by them doesn't cover repairs, which I was not told that. I've spent over 2 thousand dollars trying to get my car repaired and nothing is working. I've lost time on my job because I can't drive this car for fear of being stranded. This company is not standing by the car they sold me.

************** when you purchased your vehicle back in April, we recommended an extended service contract to you in order to help you with repairs after the sale. We explained to you that only the items listed in the contract would be covered and that it was mainly to assist you with major powertrain issues such as the engine and transmission since the vehicle was a 2005 with ******* miles on it at the time of purchase. We are aware that vehicle issues can be inconvenient as well as frustrating at times which is why we have tried to walk with you throughout this process. Unfortunately, when you took your vehicle into the shops of your choosing, they misdiagnosed the vehicle and made repairs to your vehicle that did not solve your issue. The shops that you had do the work have no affiliation with Dream Work Automotive. We recommended that you reach back out to those shops because you did pay them to fix an issue that has not been fixed and they should help you figure out what is going on with your vehicle. You decided that you did not want to do that so we recommended that you bring it to one of the shops that we work with to have it properly diagnosed so that we can help you get your vehicle back in working order and you declined to do that as well. I believe that your frustration is misplaced and should be directed towards the shops that you paid to diagnose and fix your vehicle. We are here to help you in the best way that we can but that does require some assistance as well as flexibility on your part. If you would like our assistance, we are still willing to have your car looked at with one of the shops we work with to get it properly diagnosed for you. Do not hesitate to call us if we can help and I wish you the best of luck going forward!

I am rejecting this response because: the company said that I needed to bring my car to one of their shops which is 45 minutes away from me. My car won't make it that far away and I explained that to them when I called them. I can't afford to have it towed to their shops. Which is what I explained to them as well. I simply want my car fixed. Nothing more nothing less.

Date of transaction-9/17/2022 I want a $45,341.97 Cash settlement. ********* for the car I bought (2015 *** 650i), 10,000 for my trade in, ***** for the bogus warranty they sold me, ***** for the money I lost repairing problems that should have been addressed before sale, ***** for lost income, and ***** for emotional damage due to being stuck in my roo, for 5 weeks straight-messed me up alot and I am struggling to financially and emotionally recover from this. There aren't enough characters here to say what I need to say-so call or email me for more info if needed. Basically, they sold me a car which had faults at the time of sale that they denied. I suspect they paid off the inspector before sale because not even 2 weeks after owning it I take it into a shop and the master technician tells me that the catalytic converters are missing/gutted, tires are below legal limit, and brakes are grinding, and oil was leaking all over the floor.Through my ownership of this car(September 2022-April 2023) I have taken it to numerous shops ***** different times to try to solve the never ending problems it had. If Dreamwork Automotive took the proper steps of repairing a car before sale I can assure that 90% of the problems it had wouldn't happen. I failed college classes because it was in the shop so much I couldn't attend classes to learn enough to pass. The owner(s)/the salesman I worked with didn't do anything to help me except when it helped them(once). They denied any claims of the car not being mechanically sound when I have a mechanic right next to me telling me that nobody could sell this car in this condition. I have texted *******************************, ******, and ****** numerous times in a kind manner and I was met with rudeness and none of them cared, the deal was already done for them. Extremely sleazy business. I gave them numerous chances to fix their mistakes and they wouldn't, so this is the next step for me. I have overwhelming evidence, contact me so I can share it.

    Dear Mr. Yale,
We're sorry to hear about the issues you've encountered with your vehicle. We take customer satisfaction seriously and strive to provide the best possible service.
We understand your frustration, but as we have discussed with you on multiple occasions you purchased a highline *** that you abused. You were offered and purchased a warranty to cover issues that *** occur after the sale and that warranty company paid out thousands of dollars' worth of claims on your vehicle. From your own admission, you were constantly driving the vehicle aggressively back and forth to ******** to visit your girlfriend without doing the proper maintenance necessary. We helped you in many different instances to source parts as well as repair shops to assist with the issues that you were having. The vehicle that you purchased was serviced as well as inspected prior to you purchasing it. The vehicle passed all the necessary inspections needed in order for a vehicle to be sold in the state of **. The statements in your complaint are categorically false. Unfortunately, you purchased a vehicle that you were not interested in maintaining. When you received the car, you test drove the vehicle for an extended period of time, looked over it vigorously and stated that it was in great shape. You raised no complaints until you had an issue after putting 1000+ miles on it. I would hope that you will reflect and leave us a more review in the future.
