  We placed a custom order four weeks ago after using Myers Park Tailors for alterations. One alteration was done poorly, and another wasn’t done at all—yet it was handed back to me as if it had been completed. When I addressed it, I was firm, direct, and honest about being overcharged for subpar work and not having quality control built into process. Instead of taking responsibility, the owner’s wife deflected with “everyone makes mistakes” and later falsely implied I had been inappropriate — which is simply not true.
  Scott’s shirts also weren’t altered as promised, and we were told a “broken needle” was the reason. It didn’t feel honest. Then, without any warning, they canceled our custom order and told us they were “parting ways” with us. We had an agreement with them. The custom clothing was due 2 weeks from today.
  The owner lays on the friendliness and charm thick, but it’s not genuine — it’s performative. He bounces between five customers at once, chasing money hard, constantly in motion, and tells you not to come in on Saturdays because he’s “too busy.” It’s clear this business is all about him — not the client. If you dare speak up, he can’t handle it and will push you out instead of taking ownership.
  Even past custom pieces took several attempts to get right. The whole operation feels like a cattle call — rushed, chaotic, and centered around ego, not service. He is grooming his son to take the business over in a few years.
  This wasn’t about us doing anything wrong — this was about:
  • A business that is poorly run
  • A tailor who likely felt cornered by his own failure
  • A decision to cut ties rather than own up and fix it

  Very unprofessional business. Terrible customer service. They ruined a pair of my pants. Hemmed one leg longer than the other on a few of my pants. They did not finish 4 pairs of my pants. The policy is to pay upfront. I spent over $500 in services. They said they would pick up what was not completed from my doorstep. They never showed up. They never called. A day later a text was sent as an apology. That is not acceptable. It was raining that day. I responded by calling them back the following Saturday. The owner was upset because I did not text back. I do not do business that way. He offered to REMOVEDthe job and give me my money back. I just want my money back. I do not trust the work they do.
