    ~Aug 23 - I paid *** ********************** for 4 jobs at my house. Two of those jobs were complete unsatisfactorily:$300 to regrout our front steps. The grout had a pink hue compared to the *******-**** of the remaining grout in that area.$200 to fill in the cracks in our driveway. The material he used to fill in the cracks did not last more than a few days of normal wear and natural elements.9/14/23 - I texted *** ********************** about the driveway repairs and we arranged for him to repair them again on 9/27.9/26/23 - *** ********************** failed to hold this appointment after I inquired about the time to expect him. We rescheduled for 10/10.10/9/23 - *** ********************** failed to hold this appointment after I inquired about the time to expect him. We did not schedule a definite time to reschedule.10/24/23 - I contacted *** ********************** who said he could stop by between Tuesday and Wednesday of the following week. I think we spoke on the phone at this point but do not recall the details of the conversation.~Nov 23 - *** ********************** stopped by to repair the driveway while I was out of town neglecting to coordinate with me and my wife. Again, the repairs he made did not hold.4/10/24 - I texted *** ********************** basically telling him I expected a refund for the driveway cracks ($200) and reminded him about the discoloration of the grout in the front steps. He replied indicating he was "about a month and a half out" and would "reach out after that timeframe to get {me} on the schedule." I reiterated I would prefer at least a partial refund for the driveway rather than a third attempt to repair it. He never "reached out" or replied to my text.5/13/24 - I texted *** ********************** as 1 1/2 months approached to get on his schedule. "I am maybe like a month out minimum"..."but I am putting you back on the schedule." I asked him about his plan for the steps to match the color better. He said he would pick up a different type of mortar. We agreed on his plan. I asked about the driveway and he replied incoherently then never again.
