    I participated in an extensive market research study September 2020 concerning financial products. I was mailed a gift card in the amount of $300 for my participation in September 2020. I got Covid19 shortly after and became very ill, and was hospitalized. After recovering, I got another variant of Covid19 and was again ill for months. It was what is termed long covid. I found the gift card in my desk November 2021 that had never been used. Because it was not used within 1 year of issue, the $300 was expired.I called 20/20 research and spoke to ***************************** about the issue with the gift card expiring. She told me that she would look into it, and get back to me. She stated that they stopped using that gift card vendor. I never got a return call. When I called her back a month later, she said she was still looking into it. This has not been resolved.I dont understand why a they would issue a gift card that expires. I had extenuating circumstances, and feel that I am still owed the $300 that I earned.
