Good evening and to whom it may concern. On 2/4/2024 I entered Martinizing Cleaners to pick up my work jacket from them putting in a new zipper which I was told by a black skinny female that it would only by $25/28 dollars. I was told ********. ***** who stated he is the operation manager that the price is $68.00 which it was a shock to me. I explained to him what I was told he continued to be disrespectful, unprofessional, talking over me and not listening to anything I am saying. After I paid for my jacket I told him to cancel my other dry cleaning and Ill take my business elsewhere he exact words were ITS ALREADY DONE AND DONT EVER COME BACK. I am requesting a full refund back to my credit card and an apology from the owner.

Customers was quoted an estimate for item. When customer returned to pickup, the charge was more than estimate. Customer was unhappy and we reduced the invoice to the estimate. Customer had been in store twice and had requested discounted pricing both times. We advised customer we would no longer offer him less than standard pricing and he may want to look for other service. Customers has not returned since.

Martinizing Cleaners lost my suit jacket. Somehow, the pants werent lost, so now I have half a suit. They didnt contact me to let me know something had happened to my jacket; rather, I contacted them because it had been several weeks. I didnt initially realize the jacket was gone because it was part of a larger drop-off. When I called and asked about it, suddenly they realized the jacket was missing and was at the warehouse as other reviews have cited.Eventually we came to the conclusion that the jacket was indeed missing, at which time I was told over the phone that they would compensate me for the lost jacket if I had a receipt for the purchase of the jacket. Fortunately I had an e-receipt for the jacket, which was less than a year old. I had been told the owner needed to see proof of the price and the date so he could adjust for depreciation. I cant imagine what it would have been like if I didnt have a receipt. Then came the waiting game. As soon as I sent the receipt, crickets. No answer. Ive written several times and gotten no response. In my view, they have become adversarial, challenging me when they are the ones who are in the wrong. I didnt want money, I wanted my dry-cleaned jacket back. However, I am willing to accept money which will almost certainly not be enough to pay for a jacket replacement. That means in the end, I am paying for their mistake.Martinizing Cleaners, based on other online reviews (see ******** seems to be doing this systematically; otherwise I wouldnt have written this complaint. Mistakes happen. But if your business is consistently losing peoples nice clothessince nobody dry-cleans the cheap stuffyou need to figure out where the failure is. Thankfully I paid with a credit card which puts this in the realm of fraud. Small claims court is a pain in the neck, but thats another next step. Theyve been given over 2 months to correct this and have dragged their feet.
