I parked my car along W Tremont Ave to visit this business for the first time. I thought it was funny that signs were posted on the rooftop telling customers NOT TO THROW THINGS OFF THE ***** I enjoyed myself until returning to my vehicle. Along the street on my passenger side of my car, there was a ton of glass. I thought nothing of this until entering my vehicle and hearing a loud boom. The boom was later followed by a shatter. I realized that patrons on the rooftop where throwing items from the top of this establishment AT myself and vehicle. When reporting this to law enforcement conveniently located outside of the establishment I was given little to no answered. They went into the business to speak to the manager about running the cameras and was told that they were "new" and "just installed today"; therefore, the incident that had occurred was not captured on video. Even if this was the case, no one from the establishment offered to come out and speak to me or look at the damages to my vehicle. I believe that both the officers as well as the staff made excuses for the way that this establishment allowed their drunk/ belligerent patrons to conduct themselves because it is deemed as the "norm". I really am disappointed that this situation was not handled differently.
