  They were prompt, courteous, informative, and efficient. The project was done according to the plans and a manager did a crawl through with me and went over maintenance tasks. Although our problem was major and costly, their initial quote was less expensive than other companies without having to do a price match or price guarantee.

  Charlotte Crawl Space Brothers installed a 14ml vapor
  barrier. My crawl space looks spectacular from one corner to the other.

  From the estimate to the finished job the process of removing our mold and treating the crawl space went just as planned. In fact, the job was completed ahead of schedule and without a single issue.

  I used this company for my crawl space. Their *** came out explained everything and I signed a contract. When they came to do my work it was not done as stated in the contract. I objected and they said that they do not put pilars in that way any more so I let them continue. Had to have an outlet put in for the dehumidifier as well. When it came to putting in the dehumidifier it did not fit where they said they were putting it. Wouldnt you think they knew the size of the dehumidifier and move the dirt around before encapsulating it. They installed the dehumidifier at the end of the house and wanted to run an extension cord to the outlet, I objected and said that was dangerous. I called the company and complained. They said they would send the electrician out to move the outlet but it would be 2 weeks so now my crawl space is sitting enclosed while it rains collecting some mold on the boards. The dehumidifier was placed at the end of the house causing it to run less productive. I would not recommend this group.

  I'm unhappy with this company. The install was November 2023 and in March 2024 I contacted GM ******* *******, my sales **** and the inspector, requesting documentation for my taxes to take advantage of the insulation credit. By email because I wanted a paper trail of my contact attempts. No response, so I lost the credit. I contacted the main email address to raise my dissatisfaction with the install and they told me they'd refer me to the local ***************** and I never heard back. The only response since November was to my ****** review, asking me to reach out. Which, I've done. They didn't contact me. I had a home inspection done to review all the improvements I'd done since purchasing my home, and the crawlspace work was the one sore thumb in the report. The work is sloppy AND actively recirculating water collected from the crawlspace back into the crawlspace. The dehumidifier tube drips water onto the vapor barrier and the outside spout dumps water directly onto the concrete foundation. **** is growing below the spout and the wall is perpetually wet. I put a 5gallon bucket beneath the spout and in a few days, it's almost half full. The inspector recommended lifting the dehumidifier and running a PVC pipe to the sloped side of the house, which is the closer wall, allowing gravity to pull the water away from the foundation. This would also eliminate the floppy tube currently snaking the length of the crawlspace floor.I don't know if I'd trust them to go back in versus just credit back the install so I can pay someone else to do it.
