I took my 2015 ******* Sonata to this business on approxiamately 09/30/2021. I had a check engine light on and I wanted to have the mechanics here do a diagnostic and see what is wrong with the vehicle. I received my estimate and it was discovered that I had a major oil leak. Tuffy charged me ****** to find and diagnose and fix my car. I agreed to the Valve cover gasket and and oil change with change of mighty air filter. I picked up the car on 10/2/2021. I drove the car for 3 days before it was discovered that my car was still leaking oil. I immediately called the owner and took the car in on Satureday 10/16/2021 which was the first available date. I drove my car back into the shop only for the shop manager to tell me there is nothing wrong with the car and the oil is just residual oil dripping and the dripping should go away and plus the check engine light was still on. I didnt understand because I just pail the experts almost ****** to discover where the leak was. Needless to say Tuffy put a liquid in my engine to determine if there was any other leaks that could by that Tuffy mechanics did not see. So I agreed to this method. No sooner than I got in my car to pull off the lot I heard this loud screaching and knocking noise. I backed back up to the shop and spoke with the manager and told him I will not be taking this car off the lot with these now new problems. Tuffy kept the car over the weekend and told me the noise went away and everything was fine. I went out of town on 10/20 and did not drive my car again until 10/26 I drove the car to work as usual for about 2 days than on Thursday 10/28 on 485 my car started shaking and making the loud noise again only this time i could not excel or back up. I pulled off to the side of the road and called AAA and had the car towed to another shop. On Friday 10/29 another shop diagnosed the car with having to have a new engine due to no oil in the engine so the engine locked up and know i am without a car. How could this be, I just paid Tuffy Automotive at the beginning of the month to find, fix the leak and to do a oil change. I am no rocket scientist but I do know that if I just paid for this problem to be rectified and also a oil change how can my engine lock for no oil. Tuffy Automotive botched the job and is refusing to refund my money and pay for a new engine.
