My vehicle was misdiagnosed and I was told I needed a tune up to fix my problem ($900). After the tune up did not fix the issue, I was told my throttlebody and MAP sensor needed to be replaced ($900). When they realized that didn't fix the issue, the told me I needed a new engine or to replace the cylinder head (quoted at $6,000+). At this point I told them to not do any further work and I went to retrieve my vehicle. At the time I went to get my car, I asked for them to show me my throttle body that was damaged, initially they were unable to show me the damage because they did not have it in their possession anymore and that NAPA auto parts store had it because it had a core charge on it. I went over to NAPA to ask if their new throttlebody had a core charge and they told me there was no core charge on new throttlebodies only on refurbished ones. When I went back over to Al's Garage to ask to have the throttle body replacement chargers removed, they had no issue taking it off my bill but also "my" old throttle body magically reappeared and they put the old one back on my car. I took my vehicle to get another diagnosed by 3 different mechanics, one being the actual Jeep dealership. All 3 mechanics came up with the same diagnosis and were unsure why they would do a tune up for my issue I was having. I reached out to **'s Garage over the phone and spoke to a representative who had a very recognizable voice due to his accent. I asked if a manager was in while on the phone, and he said he did not know. I then asked if he knew who the owner was and again did not know. I then decided to return in person to speak with someone to find a resolution, the same guy who answered the phone, who referred to himself as *****, was there again. I explained the situation again, and he refused to work with me to find a resolution. I then asked for a business card and he refused to provide one and was initially reluctant to provide the name of the owner of the shop.

On January 24th, 2022 I requested from Al's Auto Shop (*****-supervisor) to have my front struts changed (I brought the struts). When I picked up the care on 1/26/22 the TC and ABS lights were looking at me on the dashboard. And the brakes definitely did not feel right the car did not stop light before. I alerted ***** immediately about my observation. ***** told me to return the car when the part arrived. On2/10/22 I returned the car to get the ABS braking repaired. The ABS brakes were repaired and functional. Nevertheless, when I arrived home steam was observed coming from under my hood and radiator fluid leaking inside engine. On 2/11, I took my vehicle to *********** for diagnosing and repair. And *********** stated that the radiator was cracked from the top and needed to be changed. With parts and labor the final cost was $1162.63. Al's Garage employees/business can't be trusted. And they owe me for the cost and or labor for sabotaging my vehicle. Stay away from Al's Garage.
