Last fall, I was looking to rent a storage unit. I found Go Store It, in *******, **, online; but their website did not have an online submission form, or an email address, to contact them with off the record communications are a huge red flag to me; they lie, then accuse you of misunderstanding and then you cannot prove their frauds = one of the many reasons that I do not have a phone.Eventually, I drove out there. I asked to see one of their storage units. A new guy showed me on. I stayed to rent it.While in their office, being asked for, and providing them with, my information, they got to the phone question, and I told him that I do not have one.He called someone, who told me that I must have a phone, and she kept repeating their demand.Their demand, does not change the facts.Six months, later, I searched for a storage space, again. As many of the other places that I had looked at, did not even have on site offices, or offices that were open, when my search results included Go Store It, I clicked on them, again. But Go Store Its website sill had no online submission form, or email address. Eventually, I drove back out there, again. The new guy was still working there.I explained that I had been there last fall, and that they would not rent to me, because I do not have a phone. I asked if that was still the case. This time, he told me, that not only Must I have a phone, but that I also must have an email address.I found that to be hypocritical and abusive. They do not have an email address on their website, but they demand it from me.Also, what does a phone get them?Do they selling their tenants phone numbers?Do they track peoples locations? These are 2 more of the many reasons, that I do not want a phone. Also, there is no law requiring me to have phone.I am not doing anything illegal. Not having a phone is legal, discrimination is not.
