      I was very impressed with the speed, quality and professionalism exemplified by this business. You never are truly "in need", until you need heat, water, or electric. One call to this company and an appointment was set. The technician was on time, professional and very courteous. He quickly diagnosed the issue and provided a fair quote. I immediately approved and he went to work. He was done in about 30 minutes and I was back in business! In today's world, companies like this who offer fair services, on time, while doing it with a smile on their face are few and far between. I will definitely be using them again in the future. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC services for residential, or commercial needs. Can't thank them enough--their work and reputation speaks for itself!!!!!

      Last Friday morning during the fall semi-annual preventive maintenance inspection an issue was discovered. I asked the technician to give him a quote for the repair. After reviewing the quote, I asked him to have a sales rep. contact me for a proposal on a new system. The technician contacted the office and within two hours the sales rep. was at our home. He reviewed the installation and the construction of our home and went back to the office to work up a proposal. By 12:30 I had a proposal with three different ******* HVAC system options to choose from. Shortly after agreeing to one of the options on the proposal, I received a call from their office to set up the installation for the following Monday. Monday morning the installation crew arrived and went right to work. Shortly after noon the installation was complete and a service tech was setting up the new thermostat and guiding me through the set-up of the heating and cooling schedules. He did a great job going over its operation and answered all of my questions. Monday afternoon I received a call from their office letting me know that she had processed the paper work for the warranties and the Duke Energy Rebate and had mailed copies of each to me. I don’t think we could have asked for a better outcome.

      I had Apex Heating and Air out in January 2022. Cost me $500 to repair. My biggest beef then was putting that kind of money into a relatively new unit - installed 5/2018. Flash forward to June 2022 and now I have air coming through but not cool/cold. I called them again. Their technician came out first thing on 6/6. I talked to him a bit and showed him the crawl space and attic and at some point told him I didn't need to hover over him that I am going back in the house. Took less than 2 hours to do whatever he did. He knocks on the door, I let him in and he hands me the bill - $744.00. I questioned what he did and why without telling me. Said I have a leak, charged me to search for it and still put in coolant. I wrote him a check because he said it would be another $22 to use my card. I said, "I am not giving you anymore money". I was not prepared nor was I expecting to spend this much that day. I called the office after he left and spoke with ***** and asked when did it become ok to do work without consent or knowledge. She didn't have a feasible answer for me. Fast forward to July. Three weeks later the air conditioner is making noise so I call another business. There is a significant leak and all the coolant I paid $480 for is gone. I of course called Apex Heating and Air and asked to talk to the owner which I have not been allowed to do so, nor has the technician spoken with me. I have been told his version of what happened and mine are different, but will not elaborate on this. I am in a she said, he said situation. They clearly do not believe me or would have refunded me most if not all the $. I have made numerous phone calls asking that my $ be returned. I called 7/8 and again on 7/11. On 7/12 I was offered a two - time maintenance visit -$257 value - and was asked when in the Fall would I like to schedule this. Where's my summer visit? A&H's employee dropped the ball not discussing any of my options with me. Did as he pleased on my $

      Dear Ms. ********,

      I am sorry you feel this way about a company that has been in business since 1969.  We have made several attempts to explain the service call to you. Yes, you have called and spoke with several people and we have listened each and every time. The owner is a working owner and is not sitting in the office but you have talked to the Install Manager, Dispatcher, Office Manager and Install coordinator.  The service technician that was there that day gave you a price to replace the coil and you said you did not have that kind of money so the only other solution was to add refrigerate. He felt confident he was doing the right thing based on what you said. The technician has been with our company for 15+ years and has 30+ years in the industry.  Unfortunately in this case it did not last.  If it had lasted we probably would not be having this conversation??  During our discussion you informed us that your unit had not been inspected and a permit had not been pulled for your HVAC install. NC requires that all HVAC replacements be inspected as well as the townships require this of you as a homeowner.  When the technician presented you with the invoice that says "I HAVE CHECKED THE WORK AND CHARGES AS STATED ARE CORRECT AND SATISFACTORY" you signed in the required area.  Our solution to offer you a service agreement at NO CHARGE is a very fair offer from a business standpoint and also the consumer.  You stated you were not aware that you needed to service your HVAC. We offer service agreements to all of our customers after one year of install and educate them on the importance of preventative maintenance. We have tried to "meet you in the middle" but it appears you only want your money back. You also did not give us an opportunity to install the coil (you had another HVAC company install the new coil for you). I realize it is too late now but if you had given us an opportunity to install the new coil it is possible that we would have reduced the price to help offset the expense of the refrigerate.  I am sorry you did not accept what would have been a very good solution. I take reviews very seriously but the threat to give your money back or you would write us a bad review is not the manner in which we conduct business after 50+ years of being a ******* Factory Authorized Dealer and always treating our customers fairly with superior customer service from our service technicians, installer and office staff.

      I have used Apex Heating and Air Conditioning for years. Their service never disappoints. The company just installed a new air conditioning unit, and it provides excellent cooling. The installers are professional and pleasant and more than willing to answer questions. The company's prices are competitive, a welcome position since inflation is so high.

      Apex Heating & Air helped us maintain an older HVAC (heat pump) unit for two years. In December 2021, it was clear the old unit needed replacing. We couldn't be happier with our new heat pump! The upstairs is much warmer, the unit is quieter than the old, and runs less often. When the unit we wanted to purchase wasn't available in North or South Carolina, AH&A went the extra mile to procure the heat pump from a ******* distributor on the Maryland/Virginia line. From first contact to completion of the job, all AH&A staff were super professional, very efficient, and friendly. This is a company that strives to have excellent customer service and they do! For an honest assessment of your heating and AC needs and superior workpersonship, I highly recommend Apex Heating & Air.

Unfortunately we have been faced with some difficulty getting equipment for our customers but thanks to an excellent relationship with Carrier we have been able to work it out in many cases.
