The bank neglected to inform me that they had blacklisted my account because of their lack in updating online security issues. As a result I was unaware of the fact that the $3,600.00 I had been expecting to receive for travel expenses to be able to handle issues out of state in a timely manner was being rejected whereas the deposit into my account could not be processed. In effect this matter has cost me a lot money. It took Stockman Bank over 3 days to finally inform me of what they had done regarding my account with them resulting in a total loss of several thousand dollars. Had Stockman Bank informed me when I initially brought this matter to their attention, I could have had time to make alternative arrangements. Now it's too late.

I decided I don't want to pay $176/year for my PO box any more, so I securely logged into my stockman bank account online, using the computer with the *** cookie set on it from when I used *** to identify myself, and I sent a secure message to the messages center, asking them to change the address linked to my debit card to the home address already on file. I must have gotten the laziest employee on the planet, or your bank policies are the stupidest ones on the planet, because I was rudely told via message from a bank employee that I would have to call and sit on the phone in order to make this change. I'm not asking to add a different address, I am asking to use the same **** address you already have. Why your customer service has to make this so difficult is beyond me, I made the change on all 5 of my credit cards on their website without being hassled or treated like a criminal. You just continue to leave me unimpressed! Also, don't call me, I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, if you want to communicate about this complaint, use email like every other company out there! Join the 21st century already!

I am rejecting this response because instead if just removing my PO box and using my physical address for a mailing address, they tried to force me to jump through their ridiculous hoops to identify myself on the phone, which would be far easier to fake than to be logged into my secure online account with Multi-factor authentication via text message and send a secure email to a bank representative that can then just change to the address already on file.  ******** told me that rather than make this simple and benign change to my account (to the home address already on file since opening the account, I mean, have you ever heard anything so ridiculous and manipulative in your life??), to do something most companies let you do online without any human contact, I should instead find another bank, so I closed my account!

      Sincerely,
