This company has no physical office and is managed by *****************************, also named Rent In ********* (none of these names have BBB listings). I began receiving email threats regarding the auction of a storage unit they say I have (false). They only email from a "no-reply" email. So I couldn't respond and I couldn't walk into their office. They are managed by a property management company, so I can't even talk to the actual owners or employees of the company. I played phone tag with this property rental company and in one of my voicemails made very clear that they had made a mistake and they were to CEASE taking money out of my account. At this point, I had gone to check my bank account and found they took $100 back in June, then began emailing me demanding more money. They then took $50 out in September.Yes, they ended up with my debit card, and later I was a told a copy of my ID, and supposedly my signature when they started charging me a monthly rental fee. Then they started emailing me and threatening to auction off my things. Which would have been just dandy, seeing as though Ive never stepped foot on their property - I dont even know where it is. They send threatening emails from a no-reply email, so email communication (written proof) is non-existent. They have no physical office, so you cant go in and discuss the matter. When I tried to call and let them know that they had made a mistake, she told me they had my signature and my ID on file, so either me or someone in my household made the reservation. When I corrected her assumption, all she could rudely parrot back to me repeatedly was you should call your bank. She then proceeded to flat out lie and say that NO ONE at all in their company had the authority to refund any of the money they stole. This is a SHADY company in the business of blatant identity theft. The woman I spoke with was disrespectful and belittling and in the very least, this company has horrific customer service.

A copy of ***** ******* driver's license and credit card information were uploaded to the online rental portal.  A lease agreement to start on 7/1/2025 was reviewed and signed at 12:15pm with her credentials.  Her credit card was charged, per the signed lease agreement.  Company contact information is on the portal used to establish the account, all correspondence, online and physically at the storage unit facility.  The card used to establish the account paid one of the three charges so delinquency letters were sent and calls made for 3 months the outstanding balance with no response.  In September, Ms. ***** contacted the office and was extremely irrational on the phone.  Her account of the conversation in her complaint is untruthful.  Once the property manager learned about Ms. ******* rental, all funds were returned the same day.  Lucky Storage is one of the newest safest facilities in the *********  The management team prides itself in offering exceptional support and 24/7 customer service.
