    borrowed 3000 from plain green loans.I already paid double at 299 percent *********** states cap is 36 percent on these type of loans.I have borrowed with this company many times before interest rates just got higher and higher and all payments were made on time.I will be contacting the attorney general of my state and the cfpb.

    On November 20, 2024 I borrowed $700. Plain Green LLC has withdrawn from my bank account $2471.04 plus 2 $30 "fees", for a total of #****.04. The total Finance Charge per the Loan Agreement is $3005.41 at an interest rate of ******%. I am under doctor's care for mental illness that prevents me from making reasonable financial decisions at times. This company is not BBB accredited and there are numerous filed complaints. The ************************** website states that any company selling loans has to comply with Minnesota laws and be registered to sell loans in the state. For loans between $350.01 and $1,000, payday lenders cannot charge more than 33 percent annual interest plus a $25 fee. The amount that has been withdrawn from my account far exceeds the ** State maximum. I want a refund of the fraudulent interest that I have been overcharged, plus the 2 "fee" amounts.

    This is an illegal loan in the State of Minnesota. See attached document of the ************************** website regarding Internet Loans. There is a maximum interest amount allowed of 33%. The Plain Green loan exceeds that in multiples. 

    I have attached the email I received from Plain Green for BBB reference.

    I am rejecting this response because: This is an illegal in ********* predatory loan assumed to a vulnerable adult with a professionally diagnosed mental illness who did not understand the consequences of such a transaction.

    The payments listed on the Plain Green website say they are attributed to either interest or fees. There has been zero allocation towards principal.

    This company is distasteful. They offered me what seemed to be a $800 loan. But apparently it was just a refinance on a loan that was nearly paid off. I ended up with $145 and another loan that wont be paid off for another year and plenty of interest and a higher payment. I will never do business with them again and their sly word play.

    Threatening phone calls saying I attempted to defraud a financial institution, as well as allegations of theft of funds. Threatening legal action to be taken against me, yet no paperwork has come into the mail or been served to me by the local Sheriff.

    Recently I made a payment arrangement to pay off this loan. I have been paying as agreed. Today I check the Clarity Svcs credit report to see they are marking me as in collections, which should state current. This is very punitive and unfair. I am asking that this status be changed to current. These loans are already extremely high interest, which is the entire reason I had trouble paying in the first place. Don't make it harder.

    Like many people I fell on hard times, I took out a loan with plain green which they were charging over $100 bi-weekly at over 300% interest. It got hard on me I couldnt pay especially with that kind of interest rate that is illegal in **********! I had to close out my bank account. Never received any emails from them trying to collect so they sent me to a third party collection that was not a legal collection company called *** I made a payment arrangement with them because they were threatening legal action and calling other family members so I was able to get them to stop and stop paying them since they arent legitimate. Now I was contacted again and so were my parents which is illegal to give information about me. When I called the number back I was told this was a last resort collection company and that I needed to pay $100 bi-weekly or $500 to settle in a panic I settled for $100 once a month. I was told they would send a cease and desist letter to plain greens and I would receive an email, but if I stopped paying legal action would happen. This morning I called because I didnt receive an email and the man was very rude made me feel dumb saying I only set it up yesterday not 48hrs and thats how long emails can take, yet as soon as I get off the line and a few minutes go by theres an email. I asked if they had a website and he said No it was account department with plain green. Everything this company is doing is illegal! No one in my family should be contacted or given my reference numbers

    A loan was borrowed for $700 . No information or paper work was provided regarding anything to this loan and when I asked for documentation to be sent , documents were not sent . I have lost my job and had tragic death in family and couldnt pay anything and now the balance is over $1700. This is fraud . I was told by the chat representative that we are charged interest DAILY ! I would have never signed anything for this loan if I knew this is the way they do business with people. We can barely survive as it is , thats why we borrowed money and to be charged what they are charging ON THE DAILY is so wrong. And I am still waiting for documentation regarding this matter. I want to pay back my 700 and be done with them.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    This company never sent documents of anything for this loan. They simple give an approval through the website which was strange in the first place but I trusted it for the reason that I was desperate due to job loss, you also cannot see any loan documents on their website. Anything that I signed and now are now sending me information that I have never seen before and if they have proof of emails of when this loan was approved, they need to provide that because I would have sent this money back IMMEDIATELY! All you can see is your payment due on website and what is passed due. And that is why I reached out because I had no idea that the interest was being charged daily as originally loan was $700 and now its over $1700. I have researched this company and now have found out that so many others have fallen into the same situation, of not being aware of how this company works and not knowing what their interest rates are on a DAILY basis. Its absolutely outrageous and how could a person pay that back ? I cant afford it and wont be able to pay that back.

    I got a loan form this company and then I had to pause payments ln January 19th I sent an email revoking their acccess to my ach and then feb 6th they illlegaly stole $298 anyways

    I received an email from plain green loans stating that I had a loan with them and needed to make a payment on 2/3. I have never filled out anything in ** e with this company. I then checked my bank account and there is a deposit of $700.00 that was deposited on 1/23/25. Again I have never filled out any thing on **ne or on the phone with this company.

    I have had to deal with the collection department my entire loan since they have due dates opposite my pay day. I normally pay once im paid. So today i paid my past due amount of *****. But still, i keep getting phone calls and emails and texts harassing me about this. I have provides them screenshots for proof but they ignore it and give me copy and paste answers. They tell me my account is noted but collection effort will continue.
