    Business Response

    Date: 11/01/2025

The customer came into the store to purchase a money order. At the checkout, the customer chose the option of credit instead of debit. We leave this entirely up to the customer. After the transaction was finished customer proceeded to get irate over the fees that the merchant charges- not us. I had to leave a meeting to handle this customer who was disrupting business. We called the police and had this customer trespassed due to his out of control behavior.  The customer would not calm down and listen to anything. He continued to berate my staff and was screaming in my store scaring customers.  We had given him exactly what he came to the store for- he just didn't like the card fees which is very clear- card price- debit price and cash price. It costs money to issue the money order. The 1.25 is the cost of that money order. We still printed it. Its no longer usable.

I am rejecting this response because:

When I was charged that amount. Before I clicked the button I asked the employee if all the options were the same. The employee which is the owners mother. Which my roommates have had problems with before. The owner wouldn't believe me over her mother. The owner also called me a coward. Which is why I started yelling. She also told me she wasn't going to give me a refund. On the point of sale that the owner says I clicked the wrong button. There was no price on it. That's why I asked if they were all the same. All I asked for was a refund. I shouldn't have been called a coward. Very unprofessional. Also the owner had to leave her meeting because she didn't train her employee i.e. her mother how to do the refund.

    Sincerely,
