September 17th 2025. I went to tire rama at REMOVED. I asked for a used tire to replace a damaged tire, give the?Gentlemen my rim and damaged tire, when I got home and put the tire on the car, the car went nuts with all the sensors and alarms. And realized they put the wrong size tire on my rim called and explained what had happened was treated extremely rude and told they did not have the tire. I needed that they would give me credit and order me a new one I said I don't want a new 1. I want a used one or take this 1 back and I will find 1 someplace else. After being spoken to in a very rude and unfriendly manner. I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told he was the supervisor I then asked for corporate's number, I was told look it up yourself and then I was hung up and since then. I have not been able to drive my car because it's not a car that can be driven with mismatched tires and have not been able to get a call back or any resolution at all.Initial Complaint

On 05/13/25 I took my 2018 REMOVEDone into Tire Rama located at REMOVEDfor routine maintenance. A tuneup. Prior to this appointment my vehicle was having no REMOVEDthe end of the appointment I paid for the service in the amount of $493.06. On 05/29/25 I had a check engine light come on my dashboard so I took it to OReillys to have it scanned, and it came back as cylindertwo misfire and fuel trim too rich at bank one. I immediately took it back over to Tire Rama. Where they told me I just needed to drive it like an angry teenager to get those admissions out. Then I went on my way.Then again on 06/02/25 I had another check engine light come on I followed the same processes before took it to OReillys first scan which came back as replaced mass airflow sensor and too rich at idle bank one. The next thing I took it back to REMOVEDwhere he they did some minor adjustments, according to the invoice notes. Sent me on my way again.On 06/13/25 another check engine light came on, took it to OReillys and had it diagnosed again. It came back as system too rich at REMOVED. I explained to them that I just had a tuneup , at this time they cleared stored codes and told me if the code pops again then I know I really have an issue Then on 07/08/25 I got another check engine light. This one came back as replaced ignition coils and spark plugs along with cylinder two misfire detected once again went back to Tire Rama wherethey said they swapped coils repaired ground wire for cylinder two. Once again sent me my way. Then again on. 07/24/25 I got another check engine code which was diagnosed and came back as I need to replace mass airflow sensor and system too rich at idle bank one. My vehicle ended up breaking down. Its now at a different mechanic, were they informed me, Tire Rama stripped bolts and rewired ground wires to cover up with what they had done. $5,300 in repairs. To whom it may concern,
On 08/05/25 REMOVEDreached out to our location on REMOVEDto discuss what had happened to her '18 REMOVEDTiguan. The car is currently at Spartan's Tuning at REMOVEDwhere it was disclosed to us that the cylinder 1 and cylinder 2 coil fasteners had their threads pulled (stripped). This is something that we had to have had apart to do the repair on 04/29/25. We acknowledge that those threads where the fasteners go need to be addressed. We have ASE certified technicians in 2 different repair facilities in REMOVED(listed below) on record that would repair the thread holes with a heli-coil so that the ignition coils could be fastened appropriately. We have offered to cover the repair and the rental car for the time that it takes to do the repair at either location listed below. As of 08/05/25 the Tiguan could have been repaired within a few days at either place. REMOVEDdeclined to have it done.
We recognize the consequences and the urgency that was brought on by the sequence of events. We believe we have offered a solution (using multiple qualified and certified technicians in the field) to remedy the issue at hand.

I am rejecting this response because:
I initially brought my vehicle to your facility for routine maintenance. During this process, your mechanics caused damage to my vehicle. Rather than disclosing this, your staff attempted to conceal it.
Following this, I returned on four separate occasions to address ongoing issues directly related to that damage. At each visit, your staff had an opportunity to disclose the cause and provide a proper remedy. Instead, the situation was repeatedly misrepresented, forcing me to continue driving a compromised vehicle. This not only risked further damage but also subjected me to unnecessary inconvenience and stress.
After three months of repeated attempts to resolve the matter, you are now telling me that I should disregard Volkswagens recommended repairs and comply with Tire Ramas directives regarding what repairs are permitted and where they may be performed. This position is unacceptable and does not align with my rights as a consumer.
I am requesting that my vehicle be restored to the condition it was in at the time of my original service appointment. Tire Rama is responsible for returning my vehicle to safe, functional condition at no additional cost to me

We understand that the problem was created by our facility, and we have never denied that fact. Because of that fact, we have offered a solution that was/is recommended by two other facilities to solve the problem on the vehicle. As stated before, we would have repaired the vehicle in a timely fashion along with supplying a rental vehicle while the repairs were being done. The customer has denied.Initial Complaint

I bought two new REMOVEDtires last winter before hunting season! One tire had 2 pounds of ice in it when it warmed up the water was sloshing around in it I took it back they supposedly fixed it. Now the other tire has water sloshing around in it. I want the tires removed and my money refunded I will go elsewhere for my tires from this day forward Im done with tire Rama. Meanwhile my tires cannot be used due to the fact there is garbage or water inside the tires.. this is the third time I bought tires from this company and REMOVEDhad major problems every time and Im not gonna tolerate it no more.Business Response

I paid $100 to have my car towed to this place. Called on Monday to let them know it was dropped off. They did say we have "appointments ahead of yours" we will see what we can do. I call on Tuesday and check on my car again and it wasn't even looked at. I called at 3:30pm on Tuesday May 7th and they still never even looked at it. I call Wednesday morning ready to communicate that I NEED my car. I NEED my car. I am divorced. I do not have a living soul in REMOVEDthat cares. No friends no family. I kept calling to check in and they didn't even look at it. They literally were just ignoring me and acting like they didn't care at all. I call Wednesday morning hoping for at least a somewhat nice person that will give me some answers about my car. He said we have no mechnic here this Wednesday and Thurdsay and maybe we can look at it on Friday. Why didn't they say this to me on Monday so I could get it towed somewhere else? I do not like how I was treated. I want them to give me $100 for wasting my time towing it there and being completely ingnored for 2 days. Or if nothing else I want them to have a filed complaint. I am a vunerable, single mom that deserves to be treated with respect. I work 8am-4pm each day and raise 3 kids by myself. I need help not abuse from Tire REMOVED.Business Response

This car was towed to our location as noted on Monday 5/6. There was no appointment or pre-arranged scheduling of this and our Technician's schedule was full at that time. Store Manager REMOVEDdid take the initial call at 9:12 am from this customer and stated the above but that we would do the best we could to try to look at the vehicle if we had a cancellation or were able to carve out some time in the existing schedule. He did not commit to or promise the car would be checked out and/or repaired at that time. Customer called again at REMOVEDto check on status and REMOVEDexplained that we had not had time to look at it yet and we would try again tomorrow with the same full Technician schedule as previous. There was some communication back and forth on Tuesday and the importance of getting this car diagnosed and repaired for this customer was understood. An estimate was given and approved, REMOVEDpulled another Technician from his normal job to get this vehicle done on Wednesday morning which he did and the vehicle was picked up Wednesday afternoon. Customer was charged for the part and labor only, no diagnostic charge which is standard procedure. The turn-around time on this repair under these circumstances is reasonable and acceptable considering it being towed in without and appointment and we will not offer any refund for towing which this customer arranged. We do understand that car troubles are stressful and sometimes unexpected and always try to do our very best to accommodate. Better Business Bureau:I was never given an estimate for my car. When I called Wednesday morning my car still had not even been looked at.
That is correct no appointment was made as my car died on Friday. I could have made an appointment on Friday but I was told there was no mechanic there on Saturday to fix it. I called a tow company on Sunday and they were going to tow it to Tire Rama on Sunday. The tow company decieded to tow it on Monday morning so REMOVEDwould have it Monday morning. I wasn't even given an option to make an appointment when I called on Monday. No one ever asked me "would you like to make an appoinment to fix your car?" I have gone to Tire Rama many times and not had an appoinment. After my shock that a mechanic would not be looking at my car Wednesday after 5 days without a car I was upset. I was planning to have my car towed to a different repair shop so I am grateful I was finally taken seriously and my car was repaired.

Back in a November, my daughter had her winter tires put on and within 3 days, she called me stating her front end was shaking; I had her pull over and check her tires. She sent me a video of her lug nuts all loose. She was able to manually twist them off. They apologized, fixed the issue. I was apprehensive, but ended up having my winter tires put on from them. The REMOVEDstore is really close to my house and has always been convenient. Well, this morning while my husband was driving my car to work, he felt the tire start to rattle and had assumed it was a flat tire. He was on the freeway, pulled off as best he could, looked and noticed I am missing 3 of my lugnuts. My wheel was coming off!! This completely freaks me out! Good afternoon. I received a phone call on March 8 from REMOVEDregarding this. I apologized for this happening and assured her that we would take action that this would not happen again and to repair the car asap at our REMOVEDlocation. The car was towed to that location and repaired the same day at no charge to the customer. A refund check for the tow bill has been issued but not picked up yet. A replacement wheel has been ordered also but has not been replaced yet, as the original wheel was damaged. The issue has been addressed with the crew at the originating store including a safety briefing from the Store Manager. I needed an oil change, and this location was the only one that would service customers without appointments (first come, first serve). My friend/business partner had to rearrange his schedule to help me take my car and drop it off (and then later take me back). We work in the wedding industry and we had events for which we needed to prep, so I didn't have time to wait (hence leaving my car). We dropped it off first thing in the morning, just after opening. The clerk told me that it would be done early afternoon between REMOVED. I come back ~2:15 and no one had even looked at my car... I went in the office, and a different clerk said that they would get it worked on immediately and that it would take only 30 minutes. 40 minutes goes by and still nothing. She said that she went back and told the mechanic to get it in asap, only another 10 minutes. She then complained that some employees didn't come in to work that day (not my fault). Another 10 minutes, nothing. I had to get back to work and specifically left my car all day so I wouldn't have to wait. Another 10 minutes, and she came back to tell me they were just making sure everything was good ?? I walked outside because I was so frustrated. She comes out and tells me it's ready to go. The total was $112??? I have gone to certified REMOVEDdealers where it's only ever been $50-$60! Had I been told the cost and accurate timing, then I would have just taken my business elsewhere. A good business's mantra is under promise and over deliver. None of the clerks gave me accurate information. None of them seemed the least bit concerned about the wait (mind you NO ONE else was there, no one else was waiting). I asked for a discount and was ignored. This was the worst experience with a mechanic/auto shop. It isn't too much asking for a partial refund.Business Response
