    I hired Asphalt paving to lay some new asphalt and seal existing asphalt. Cost of new asphalt was $7,500.00 and $3,400.00 for sealing. This was done on 5/31/23.In the course of excavting for new asphalt a lot of dirt and mud was tracked onto the old asphalt by the machinery. The sealer was applied without cleaning existing asphalt. several days later it rained and the dirt washed off the dirt along with the sealer. I called Asphalt Paving, Spoke to *********************** who said they would come and redo the sealing but would not commit to a date. I called several times over the next few months asking to have the job completed. He continued to tell me they would be here but never showed up. By October I was concerned the job would not get done before winter. I called again and expressed my concerns, *********************** gave me his word that if they did not get the job done by winter they would refund the $3,400 .00 for sealing. By December it was obviously winter and the job was still not done. Since then i have repeatedly called and texted and gotten no response. The last time I tried to call *********************** I found my number is blocked. I called the office on 1/17/24 and spoke to someone in billing, he said he would look into it and get right back to me, I have received no response. I am elderly and on fixed income and cannot afford to loose this money. I no longer want this company to do this job. I want the $3,400 refunded as promised so I can hire someone else to do the job
