We hired American Ironworks to install a driveway gate at our home in September of 2021. They were seemingly friendly and professional and it looked great. But not for long.. A few months later we began having issues. The gate was not installed properly and began shifting and scraping the ground. They also admitted that the operator box they installed was faulty and not working correctly. In the beginning, they would answer the phones and come out to fix it after a few days of contacting them. That only lasted a few months. 3 years later, here we are and they've gone radio silent on us. Over the last few months, we have texted and called every number we have for them/ their employees. One time we finally got someone to come out and he had me pay HIM personally (not the company) via venmo for the work done and then one month later it was broken again. We spent thousands of dollars installing this gate and expect to be treated fairly given their incompetence of installation is what is causing the faulty gate to begin with. I would not suggest anyone to use this company.
