I am emailing you because I had a problem with a company taking my money on a job that I was supposed to have done on my home. I hired the company Final Touch to do repair work on my home due to the ice storm we had in Memphis in February 2021. I was introduced to one of the workers which is Mr. *************d and he introduced me to the boss of Final Touch which is Mr. *********. They both came out to my home at ****************** in Cordova and gave me an estimate on my home and took on the job to replace everything that was ruined by the ice/snow storm. I payed Mr. *************d a $2,000 deposit for the company to get started on my home on the 14th of April 2021 and I haven't had any work done or started on yet. I reached out to Mr. ********* which is the owner of the company and he is stating that Mr. ******** is not answering his calls or mine and has ran off with the money. At this point Mr. Morrison I just want my money back which is $2000 because I found someone else to do the job. I hate to have to be going through this being an disabled veteran and I do not have money to give anyone like that.
